RIDE BOCO v4.15.0 — Waiting for Review for 10 Days After Account Deletion Rejection

Hello Apple App Review Team and fellow developers,

I'm looking for advice regarding an unusually long review delay for RIDE BOCO v4.15.0, our client's initial iOS app release.

Our initial submission was rejected under Guideline 5.1.1(v) regarding account deletion. The issue was caused by an iOS configuration problem that prevented the Account Deletion Request option from appearing on the Profile page.

We corrected the configuration issue and responded to App Review on October 8, 2026, providing a detailed explanation of the fix and the account deletion workflow.

The option is accessible through:

Side Menu → My Profile → Account Deletion Request

We also clarified that submitting a request initiates the account deletion process, including account deactivation and authorization token invalidation, followed by permanent removal of the user's account data. No phone call, email, or customer service interaction is required.

Since submitting our response, RIDE BOCO v4.15.0 has remained in Waiting for Review for 10 days, with no further response or status update.

We have contacted Apple Developer Support multiple times and requested an expedited review, but we have not received a meaningful update.

This is our client's initial app launch, and the continued delay is affecting our planned release schedule.

Has anyone experienced a similar situation recently, particularly after responding to an account deletion rejection under Guideline 5.1.1(v)? Were you able to get an update from App Review or find an effective way to resolve the delay?

We would appreciate any advice from developers who have experienced this, or guidance from an Apple staff member who can help clarify the situation.

Thank you.
