Hello Apple Developer Community,
I'm asking for guidance on an unusually long delay in App Store review for my first iOS app.
Submission details
- App name: Matchi
- App Apple ID: 6822307383
- Bundle ID: com.playmatchi.ios
- Version: 1.0 (build 4)
- Submission ID: 01162389-ca53-4b39-a3f2-ed98f806791a
- Developer Support case ID: 103014614367
- Availability: India only
- Release option: Manual release
Timeline
- 23 Oct 2026, 5:38 PM: submitted for review; status "Waiting for Review".
- 31 Oct 2026: contacted Developer Support about the delay (case 103014614367) and requested an expedited review.
- 2 Nov 2026: accepted the updated Apple Developer Program License Agreement, and sent a follow-up on case 103014614367. So far I have received only the automated acknowledgement.
- 3 Nov 2026: still "Waiting for Review", 11 days after submission.
Current situation
- The app has not moved to "In Review".
- No rejection, request for information, or other message from App Review.
- No pending agreements, tax or banking items are shown in App Store Connect.
About the app
Matchi helps people in Chennai, India discover and book cricket grounds and other sports facilities, and lets venue owners and organisers manage their facilities and bookings. This is the first public release.
Questions
- Is an 11-day wait normal for a first submission right now? Are other developers seeing similar delays in late October or early November 2026?
- Could the submission be held for an account or administrative check that App Store Connect doesn't show? If so, how can I find out whether I need to do anything?
- I have already requested an expedited review and contacted Developer Support. Is there any other way to escalate, or a channel that can give a status update?
- Should I leave the submission as it is, or is there any benefit in withdrawing and resubmitting? I'd prefer not to lose my place in the queue.
I fully respect the review process. My concern is the lack of any visible progress or communication. Any guidance from Apple staff or developers who have seen this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
playMatchi team
