iTunes Connect won't accept new HSBC UK IBAN

In July 2017 I got a letter from HSBC saying that the IBAN for my UK account would be changing on October 21st 2017 (today). My current IBAN begins with "GB23MIDL" and the new one begins with "GB60HBUK". I tried to update my banking details in iTunes Connect but it gives an error "Please enter a valid IBAN."

I'm guessing that the system has a big list of valid IBAN prefixes and it hasn't been updated with the new one? Or maybe it's an off-by-one error and it will work on October 22nd?

catarino/fbarrosodev, It sounds like you're having a slightly different problem. For us in the UK we had to try and change the prefix on the IBAN because HSBC changed their structure (to separate personal and business banking, or something - it was so long ago I can't even quite remember why!) As I said in another post a few minutes ago, my IBAN has magically been fixed. I think perhaps that iTunes Connect did some sort of upgrade/migration themselves to convert people, or they've been manually fixing people who complained months ago. Mine seems OK now.

Good luck with trying to fix your problems. It might be worth starting a separate thread and/or contacting iTunes Connect support.
