iPhone X + iOS 11.2 Beta

I lost my health and activity data through doing this exact thing.

Not happy. Wiping phone. Re-upgrading to 11.2. Restoring backup. Waiting for iPhone X 11.2

We’re you able to get your 11.2 on your iPhone X? I am not getting a prompt to update and I need to restore from my 11.2 back up

Yeah - Not thrilled with this Apple! I just did the 11.2 update a day ago - went through all the registration only to find no way to update the X to 11.2.

No No, sorry, I meant I upgrade my 7plus back to 11.2 and my health and activity data came back. I had downgraded my 7 back to 11.1 hoping i could just create another backup from there for use with my X. But with health and activity data missing from 11.1 when i downgraded, it was pointless to continue the exercise.

I will wait until X is also on 11.2, and then wipe the X and restore from backup of my 7

Ook thanks yeah i will have to do the same thing since I traded in my 7+. I’m hoping it’s not too long until then tough as I’d be pretty frustrated setting up my x. Thank you for your quick reply also.

It really does stink. I woke up at 3 just like everyone else and was lucky enough to get the phone on launch day; just to find out that it is useless until the beta comes out.

Just talked to someone at developer support over the phone, they didn't have any information on when it would be released but were aware of the issues its causing right now. Seems like they may be diving more in depth with getting this fixed now, so hopefully they'll have the update for the X shortly?

Unfreakingbelievable. This is the kind of crap that would never happen under Steve Jobs. Seriously Apple ***. You're stranding your most hard core users without our backups!

No, they're mildly inconveniencing developers.

I do. If you need your backup data, use your old device. You don't HAVE to use your iPhone X on release day, you just want to.
