Hi guys,
I have joined the Beta Program and tried to install iOS 9 Public Beta 1 today in my iPhone 6. I have installed the profile and downloaded the software, but got an error (no error code) "An error occurred installing iOS 9 Public Beta 1" when tried to install. This error appears during the "verifying update" phase.
Does anyone know how to help? Thanks!

I think the op is talking about the Public Beta released yesterday - it's potentially pretty confusing because both devs and public beta testers are posting to these forums.
I've tried restarting, closing all apps, and just continually retrying the install. Still no luck. Any thoughts?
After trying and failing a couple of times, I did a quick Google search which brought me here.
Restarting my iPhone worked for me too. It's now in the process of installing the update.
Let's hope that the new beta s/w won't **** and force me to reset to factory settings and restore... :-)
Just turn off wifi and should work when cellular is ON.
Same here. It took me a few reboots, but was able to finally get it started. I did hold my finger on the screen the last time when it said it was verifying, which I highly doubt made any difference, but read that in someone elses post, so thought I would try as well.
He's trying to install the PUBLIC beta which is on version 1.
While downloading the software of ios 9 public beta 2 , this shows up in the middle of the download "an error occured downloading IOS 9 public beta 2"
Hi, I have the same problem. Error on root@localhost. I installed iOS 8.4 beta profile down same page. It was ok without any error Reset did not work for me.
yes restarting also worked for me
I restarted my phone after having the same issue and now its stuck "Searching". Ive restarted again and again with nothing, I will remove and re-insert sim to see if that solves it.
