App Store Connect API 2.0 is now available and includes the following updates:

• In-app purchases. Manage your in-app purchase metadata, set pricing and availability, submit for review, and delete in-app purchases.
• Subscriptions. Manage your subscription metadata, set pricing and availability, create subscription groups, submit for review, and more.
• Customer reviews. Retrieve customer reviews and manage your responses to customer reviews.
• Power and performance. Get hang diagnostics using the diagnostic signatures endpoint. Added new schema definitions for logs/metric responses and support for long-lived tokens.

Apps built for iOS 15.5, iPadOS 15.5, macOS 12.4, tvOS 15.5, and watchOS 8.6 using Xcode 13.4 can now be submitted to the App Store, and for internal and external testing through TestFlight.

You can now use the Apple Developer app for iOS and iPadOS to renew your membership in the Apple Developer Program if you enrolled on the web. Memberships are renewed as auto-renewable subscriptions, with support for many local currencies and payment methods.

Apps built for iOS 15.4 beta 4, iPadOS 15.4 beta 4, macOS 12.3 beta 4, tvOS 15.4 beta 4, and watchOS 8.5 beta 4 using Xcode 13.3 beta 3 can now be submitted for internal and external testing through TestFlight.

App Analytics now includes information for in-app events:

• Event impressions and page views.
• Reminder and notification data
• Number of downloads and redownloads driven by your in-app event

• Sales and usage data from users who downloaded your app from your in-app event listing on the App Store

• App opens from your in-app event listing on the App Store

TestFlight 3.2.1 is now available on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. This update includes stability improvements and bug fixes.

Support users and resolve in-app purchase issues more quickly with new App Store Server API endpoints, now available in production.

• Renewal Date Extension. Extend the renewal date of a user’s subscription by up to 90 days in cases of a service or content delivery issue — such as a server outage or cancellation of a live event.
• Look up Order ID. Confirm a user’s in-app purchase when providing customer support using the Order ID on the purchase invoice sent by Apple. Customers can also view their order ID in their purchase history at https://apps.apple.com/account/purchases.
• Refund Lookup. Identify whether a user received refunds for past in-app purchases.

You can now take advantage of new notification types that cover more user events, including subscription expirations, offer redemptions, refunds, and more. You can also provide a unique URL in App Store Connect for App Store sandbox transactions, separate from the URL that you use for production — or choose to use the same URL for both.

The App Store sandbox environment lets you test in-app purchases on device and server-to-server using product information set up in App Store Connect, helping you deliver high-quality in-app purchase experiences. You can now:

• Clear the purchase history for auto-renewable subscriptions and nonconsumables purchases made by a tester in the sandbox environment, so you can more easily test one-time purchase scenarios and continue using the same test account. In-app purchases made by customers on the App Store are not affected.
• Change the App Store region for a Sandbox Apple ID, so you can test across regions with the same tester account.
• Set the renewal rate for auto-renewable subscriptions in sandbox, so you can speed up or slow down how often subscriptions renew for a tester in the sandbox environment. Renewal rates are accelerated in the sandbox environment and subscriptions are automatically canceled after 12 renewals.

You can now set the minimum macOS version required for compatibility with your iPhone and iPad apps that run on Apple silicon Macs.

You can also test iPhone and iPad apps on Apple silicon Macs using TestFlight and the beta version of the TestFlight app.

The App Store Connect API lets you automate tasks across developer tools. You can now use it to:

• Create default and advanced App Clip Experiences.
• Configure the subscription status URL in the sandbox environment and in production.
• Opt in iOS or iPadOS apps that run on Apple silicon Macs for TestFlight beta testing using the beta version of the TestFlight app.
• View the minimum macOS version required to run your iOS or iPadOS app on Apple silicon Macs.

• Use the buildBundles and buildBundleFileSizes resources to get details on your binaries, including app size after processing and app thinning by device and OS version for iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS apps.
