I'm having the sam issue with my iPhone 7+, 2 days ago I updated to iOS 11.1( Public Beta 1) and since then my iPhone battery life time was brutally decreased... After the update from 6AM to 01PM my battery decrease to 75%70% , and after the update when I arrive home at 1PM the battery is at 30% or less. Hpe apple correct this soon as possible!!!

Apple Pencil won't fire pointer events when tap rapidly
I want to use Apple Pencil in Safari via pointerEvents, but it seems not working properly. Sometimes it does not fire pointer event when I tapped rapidly. I found similar issue in here - https://stackoverflow.com/questions/64314226/ipados-14-apple-pencil-fast-tapping-not-working-html-javascript-ontouchstart/64316781#64316781 and using touch event seems workaround this, but I'm confused this is a bug or intended. If it's intended, how to detect Apple Pencil via touch(or pointer) event? Or is there any solution without these events? Thanks.

Apple pencil force non-perpendular force calculation
Apple pencil force calculation doc:https://developer.apple.com/documentation/uikit/touches_presses_and_gestures/handling_stylus_based_input/computing_the_perpendicular_force_of_a_stylus,indicates a division of a measured force by the sine of the attitude angle. Shouldn't this be multiplication?Thanks in advance

Reply to iOS 9 beta 6 battery drain
I am having the same issue. Thought it was my iphone, the battery on it tested poorly, so they replaced it. The battery life is actually worse on my new battery. Running iOS 9 beta 5, iphone 5s 64gb. I've lost 5% battery life on wifi in the last 20 minutes. It drains very quickly, even in standby (screen off, no apps open or in background). I've tried turning off location services, and also the new Wifi Assist feature under settings -> cellular, to no avail.

Reply to iOS 10 beta 6 is causing severe battery drain
I am also running 10 Beta. The battery life is horrible I have an hour commute and by the time I arrive at work under normal use. Podcasts and reading my battery life drops substantially. I have not had the phone completely die but have been at 47% and by the end of the day I am at <10% I also submitted log files to see if the problem can be corrected.

Solutions for Better Battery Life on Beta 1 - Confirmed for Mult. Devices
Update: 6/21/2015 - 3:43 AM PST - Added third step that may resolve certain issues stemming from prior iOS backups restoring to iOS 9 Beta 1.OK we've done our 24 hours of testing and can very safely conclude that all battery life issues accross three different devices included in the test have been entirely resolved and now the devices are not heating up, charging normally, and retaining a normal rate of discharge on standby. In additio, battery use reports within Settings confirm that the Homescreen no longer is consuming a substantial (more than 20%) portion of the average use of total battery power. (devices are normalizing data still, however to ensure none of you suffer this any further here are the necessary changes)1. Completely disable iCloud Backups on each device running iOS 9 Beta 1 (Use iTunes to Backup and restore devices for now.)2. Disable iCloud drive (if you enabled it) on each device running Beta 13. Reply to iOS 11 Battery Life
Installed the iOS 11 beta update last night. Left on charge over night. Have been out of the house since 1pm, using phone normally (which is pretty much 90% of the time), battery has only dropped to 92% and it is now 7pm. That’s 6 hours of moderate use and barely any drop I battery life. Not sure what settings I have my phone on but it seems to be saving the battery life.
