Hi, Currently, I am maintaining an App Clip. Due to the application size limit and the features that we have to put into the App Clip, we had decided to go with iOS 16 + which allows maximum size limitation of 15 MB. But the problem is for devices with lower version, when they are scanning NFC tag or QR code, instead of seeing the website to popup, they are seeing the App Clip Banner with notification to update the iOS version. Is there anyway for in lower versions of iOS, let the users seeing the website, not the App Clip popup?

Can you explain how you accomplished this... So I used a credit card which is NFC enabled to readout the NFC information, added this number to the database and can now open doors using my credit card

Tried the Wallet Creator as given above. But unfortunaly it will not work. It can provide a serialnr. But it will not scan the NFC inside the lock or card. So we have to look further. Anyone a solution? Question: How to unlock the Ikea Rothult by using the iPhone NFC.

Same problem here - NFC suddenly stopped working last Saturday. (Apple Pay doesn’t work anymore on any terminals) iPhone 13 Pro - iOS 16.0.3 Update to iOS 16.1 didn’t fix it. Apple support did some remote diagnostics - hardware is fine.

Hi, I would like to know if its possible to emulate an NFC tag with my iPhone and use my device as a tag so other phones can approach and read it as a normal tag and maybe redirect them to a link or something like that. For instance at my previous job we would have our badge stored digitally on an app in our iPhone which we would scan at the entrance to register our attendance. Could this system be replicated to my situation? i.e. have a card stored digitally to direct another device to the desired link? Thank you very much for your info! Best regards
Hello @larryr1. I'm not well versed in NFC, however reading the CoreNFC documentation, I see Using Core NFC, you can read Near Field Communication (NFC) tags of types 1 through 5 that contain data in the NFC Data Exchange Format (NDEF). and Your app can also write data to tags, and interact with protocol specific tag such as ISO 7816, ISO 15693, FeliCa™, and MIFARE® tags. Does your tag conform to these format requirements? —Jason.

The same thing happened to my iPhone SE2020 on iOS16.0.3. Previously, it could read NFC but from some time it became unavailable. I have made NW setting reset, which was no effect. I solicit the solution.

Hello everyone, I purchased a level lock touch earlier this year. It’s a lock I have on my front door and side door. One of the ways it can be unlocked is with an NFC card. You can tap the card and the lock opens. Since the apple devices have NFC, and so does the level lock touch, I figured there must be a way to just unlock the door by tapping my devices. I asked apple about this and they said they couldn’t help me. I reached out to Level and they said apple will be selling a new level lock + which on October 21st which does exactly what I’m wanting to do….for $329! my question is, if both devices have NFC- couldn’t there just be some type of software update to allow this feature to happen. Instead- someone has to purchase a whole new lock!? I know it’s all about money but it just doesn’t make sense to me. does anyone maybe know of a third party app that can read the level lock nfc card and allow me to open the lock by tapping my device? In the mean time I’ll keep looking
My NFC tags are only working with the shortcuts app on my iPhone 11. I am trying to write code on them using the “ NFC tools” app. Whenever I try to write code on them using this app the NFC tags never connect. I have tried different apps that allows you to write code on NFC tags but none of them work. I know it not the tags because I use the same apps on my android devices and they work also I have seen others you the same apps on there iPhones and there’s also works too. Am I doing something wrong or is there another to write code on NFC tags using iPhone.
Please understand me for using Google Translate I was trying to make an NFC Tag Background Reading app I prepared the environment - apple-app-site-association file at /apple-app-site-association and /.well-known/apple-app-site-association also, openssl smime signed associated domains applinks:{my domain} at my xcode project success at https://branch.io/resources/aasa-validator/ I have already set data to url in nfc tag universal link URL {my domain} but nfc tag background reading always open up safari please tell me how to solve this problem
Same here, iPhone 11 PM, tried 16.0.2 and also 16.0.3 beta, reseting airdrop, etc. - did not help, nfc still wont read any tags.
