Reply to Mail not working with iCloud
Thanks for the solution - I had the very same problem and your workaround helped me, too, but now I have a new mail account in the mail.app and the new one is not configured as iCloud. I am worried that I get sync problems with calendar, notes, etc. Do I have to delete the iCloud account or both the iCloud and new me.com account and set up everything new?

Reply to Calendar Does Not Sync iOS 9/WatchOS 2
I encountered this issue too. Calandar was syncing to my apple watch just fine. I upgraded to Apple Watch 2.0 and the calendar stopped syncing to the watch.I rang tech support. Eventually I got a call back from Apple's enterprise support team. It seems that My iphone's MDM profile (its a managed phone for my company) contains a restriction Opening documents from managed to unmanaged apps not allowed. and that when you have a profile like this the Apple watch is upgraded to 2.0 will no longer sync calendar events (email is fine)So if you have 2.0 then there is not much you can do unless you can change your companies MDM profile. If you haven't upgraded to 2.0 then it is a oneway route to no calendar sync until Apple fixes this. If you have this problem please register it with Apple - they only fix things with high volumes.Regards,Dan

Reply to WatchOS 2 - Calendar data not Syncing
Same issue for me. MDM Profile installed and not calendar sync. This is nasty bug.Why do my exchange emails get synched but not the calender? And why does this affect also the sync of iCloud calendars and not just Exchange?I bought my Apple Watch yesterday and if this is not getting fixed soon, it is going back to the source with many greetings to Apple.

Reply to WatchOS 2 - Calendar data not Syncing
We are early adopters so we suffer :) i am sure they will fix it eventually. For what is worth - indis install Fantastico 2 and works just fine with my company exchange acc and calendar is up to dare on the watch. With proper notifications (along with apple calendar notification that are still happening properly)

Reply to outlook 2011 hangs on b3
Nope, I gave up.Ditched Outlook and copied settings in to Apple Mail app.Generally if you're stuck on 2011 due to the version of Exchange, the mac client will connect to the webmail interface of exchange making it a breeze to set-up in Apple Mail, which to be honest I prefer anyway. Only glitch I've found is that when people accept meetings they sometimes get duplicated in Calendar.Of note; the Exchange integration is way better than it used to be, Mail, Contacts and Calendars are all working without a hitch.

Reply to Calendar Does Not Sync iOS 9/WatchOS 2
Exact same issue here. Calendar worked with 1.0, but not with 2.0. Tech support just provided the standard unpair, repair, reset, power off/on etc. I have submitted feedback regarding this issue and provided the link to this discussion. I have the same MDM profile restriction -Opening documents from managed to unmanaged apps not allowed. Thanks.

Does EKEventStore for WatchOS Simulator supports calendars?
Latest iOS9 Simulator supports Reminders now.So I tried to fetch some reminders on iOS and watchOS simulator after I added some reminders from iOS9 Simulator.Like this:EKEventStore* store = ...; [store requestAccessToEntityType:EKEntityTypeReminder completion:^(BOOL granted, NSError * _Nullable error) { if(!granted){ return; } // It retunrs always zero-length NSArray on watchOS Simulator NSArray<EKCalendar*>* calendars = [store calendarsForEntityType: EKEntityTypeEvent]; }];However, in watchOS2 Simulator, EKEventStore always returns @[].Where can I get documentation about the limitations for watchOS & iOS Simulator?PS.We know that the debugging for real Apple Watch is painful. It's hard to attach debugger, and relaying console is too slow. That is the reason that I want to debug with watchOS Simulator.I found fun fact that when the real Apple Watch is connected with Mac which xcode running on through USB recharge cable,Attaching debugger will be much more easier and faster. Can anyone explain

how to draw multi-day event rectangles across multiple days on a month-view calendar on IOS?
What approach is recommended to draw multi-day event rectangles across multiple days on a month-view calendar on IOS? Keeping in mind the goal to be able to drag/drop the event bars around on the calendarToo options that come to mind, however I'm not sure which would be best (or if there is another) is:Use CollectionView (with UICollectionViewFlowLayout) - but then there wouldn't be one object per multi-day event would there? i.e. Every multiple day event would need to effectively draw a portion of itself separately in each day cell, and ensure the drawing lines up to appear as single barDraw the calendar yourself, so you can put multi-day rectangle bars for ease in drag-droppping, but then you wouldn't get the rendering support from the UICollectionView associated with continuing to scroll through the calendar and it creating/removing cells as required?Any suggestions/direciton welcome.(Note - Want to draw my own calendar, hence draw it using assistance with something like

Xcode 7 - Swift 2.0 EXC_BAD_ACCESS (Reproducible)
I can reproduce this bug, and there is nothing wrong with my code (tested thoroughly). If anyone else could reproduce this, I would greatly appreciate your corroboration. Afterwards, I will look for the appropriate place to submit this as a bug. I put this into 5 simple steps for anyone willing to test this bug. Your help is appreciated. Thanks 🙂 (Also, I tried turning off code optimization for the file to no avail.)1) Create a Single View IOS app with Core Data support2) Create a Weekday entity with 3 attributes (weekday : Int16, date: Date, isAllowed: Boolean)3) From Editor menu, create NSManagedObject subclass with use scalar properties for primitive data types checked.4) Add the 4 functions below to the AppDelegate.swift file5) Add the following 2 lines of code to the ViewController.swift filelet appDelegate = UIApplication.sharedApplication().delegate as! AppDelegatelet weekdays = appDelegate.getWeekdays()//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// 4 functions to add to AppD

Reply to I am locked out of my calendar on iCloud. Does anyone know why?
My calendar and contacts are still a total disaster. This started over a month ago and no fix seems to have been found by the engineers who are supposed to be working on this since 9/11/15. I was told to try another restore and I ran it for almost 2 full days. The only good thing is that my calendar is now unlocked but the calendar is not synching with my deviices...although tonight one of my phones is sucking with the iCloud calendar. I can't email off Outlook since all my contacts are a mess. I have to locate the email address and enter it in e field instead of hitting the to button if the contact were entered. Please contact me directly if you get any answers. Carole at CaroleNocickRealty.com.
