Reply to iOS 9 Beta battery life
I disabled mobile data completely and enabled power saving mode and Wi-Fi and the battery drainage/leaking stopped completely for me. I am testing iOS 9 beta 1 on my iPhone 6. Now it's been in standby mode that way for 1 hour and 14 minutes and have dropped only 1 %. I've already reported it to Apple.Any one else that can try the same thing on their devices?Cheers!

Yes, I am going to charge it to 100% now and enable 2G and see what happens with it. Seems like it has something to do with mobile data enabled and maybe the 3G/4G? Or just having mobile data enabled at all.. At least on my iPhone 6 128GB.

WatchOS 2 issue with third-party Calendar sync
I've upgraded to WatchOS 2 (13S5254w) and I'm unable to see my Gmail calendar events on my watch. I can still see my iCloud calendar events, but not any third-party calendar. On my iPhone 5 (iOS 9 beta), I can see all the events from my different calendars just fine.I have already added the UUID of both my iPhone and Watch to the developer devices list. And I have tried restarting both devices. I have also tried removing/adding the calendar glance, and customizing the calendar glance. But nothing seems solve my issue.

Reply to App thinning concern
Maybe wait for the Introducing On Demand Resources session today at 4:30 before passing judgement. More details will likely come to light.I agree that for some use cases it won't work. For example my main app is normally used out in the bush where there's no cell service. But the vast majority of users (particularly phones) do normally have always-on Internet to some degree, so it will make sense for many apps.

Reply to App thinning concern
While I agree it makes sense for a lot of apps, my concern is that customers will end up being against it in so many cases that developers will then just not use it, and I don't want to see that happen. A simple on/off switch for the user to decide solves the entire problem.I am indeed looking forward to that session today, but wasn't aware of it until I watched the thinning session this morning (which was after I posted). This mornings session actually has me even more concerned over what sounds like a lot of download, flush, re-download cycles eating into people's limited data plans. So even those with always on connections, might dislike the operation due to the fact that many phone companies treat a byte of data like the most valuable resource in the world and cost it accordingly.

No it will not, this is an issue with Beta 1.I've restored even my iPhone on iOS 9 and it still doesnt work. I did everything possible but its a no go. Beta 1, even though it mirrors the phone, is unable to Send as SMS like the iphone does. Prior to Beta 1 it was working so not sure what or why they change in order for this feature to break.

Suppress local notification actions for watch
Is it possible to suppress certain local notification actions from showing up on the watch's dynamic notification interface? For example, I am working on an app that can send/receive calls. It has a local notification category 'incoming call' that has actions 'decline' & 'answer' call. I would like to only show 'decline' on the Apple watch.NOTE: I would love to be able to answer the call but, as far as I know, it isn't possible to do like the native phone app. I tried handoff but that is quite clumsy for this action.

What defines a tetherless wifi network?
Are these simply the known Wifi networks on the phone? Or do any public networks work? Is it possible for another iPhone than the paired iPhone to act as a Wifi tether? Any insight is greatly appreciated!
