Un-pairing and re-pairing my watch with my phone appears to have solved the problem. My battery life is strong again. Thanks!

Well, Apple succeeded in its Phone Bricking Project. My 2016 SE became unusable due to iOS 14.3's amazing 100-to-zero in the blink of an eye battery trick. I took the plunge and bought a brand new SE2020. Guess what? Running iOS 14.3, its battery life is WORSE than my old phone. If Steve Jobs were alive today, I swear every single Apple software engineer would be fired for sheer incompetence.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it was to intentionally make it harder so that people wouldn’t disable it and then complain about short battery life.

I changed to the modular face too and my watch stops to reboot for one whole day.The battery life has improved too.

After the IOS 14 update, I noticed my phone being extremely hot and the battery draining so fast. I use the phone on average 4-5 hours a day, I have to charge my phone at midday and then it takes forever to charge because the phone is so hot. I got the 11 pro max for the long battery life, now Apple has taken that away. Never had any of these issues before the update. Apple, please find a bug fix quickly!!

Same issue here. However to add complexity to this, I just experienced my Apple Pencil 2 disconnecting randomly during use (iPad Pro 12.9, 4th gen, 90% battery charge) while not connected to Magic Keyboard. Update before post: I had to leave it alone for 15 minutes (screen off, unplugged) for it to detect again. A new release can’t come soon enough.

Same issue. Massive drop in battery life with Big Sur. Even when I make sure all possible apps are closed and my Macbook Air is put to sleep...the battery still drains significantly even between uses.

I'm having major battery drain issues with both iOS 9GM and watchOS2GM. Previous 3 betas in each had great battery life. My iPhone 6 was 100% at 7:00 this morning and down to 35% at 13:30.

I had a great 9 hrs battery life with catalina on MacBook Pro 2015. As soon I upgraded it to macOS BigSur , battery is draining way fast and the laptop can hardly stay 4 hrs. I am depressed. What to do . Will there be a fix for this soon ?
