Reply to excessive battery drain IOS 14.4.2
My iPhone (X) even acknowledges this. In the Battery section in settings it says: Recent Usage Your iPhone has been used more than usual since upgrading iOS, which may affect battery life. I have not been using it more myself. There are no obvious candidates in the list of programs taking up battery power, so I reckon it is iOS itself.

Reply to Request WiFi connection to iPhone instead of BT?
During the WWDC sessions it was made clear that apple is going to determine when it is approprate to use Wifi and when it going to use bluetooth. My guess is that Apple is taking battery life into account heavily and for high bandwidth applications will either automatically switch to wifi or will recommend some type of background data transfer instead. I think it would be wise to note that saturating the wifi on the apple watch would liekly drain its battery very quickly and if possible I would consider ways of limiting the bandwidth you send to the watch. Ultimately do anything and everything you can in the iOS companion app.

identityservices high utilization affecting iMessage and battery life
Seems this service is causing hellfire for my phone right now (iPhone 6s + on TMobile) running iOS 10 (14A5261v). Cant open the iMessage settings and iMessage will start out the day working as intended but start to fail later in the day. The service shows 99-100 utilization in Instruments and ~32:17.964 of CPU time.I tried to go through and sign out of a bunch of services:iCloud - (takes forever but eventually does sign out)iTunes/App Store - (same as above)iMessage - cant because wont let me get into the settings to sign outFaceTime - finally got in to sign outHomesharing - Not signed inFacebook - Signed outTwitter - Signed outVimeo - dont haveFlickr - dont haveSpotify - dont haveand service is still crazy. Any other ways to stop/reset the service to have it be refreshed like new? I restart the phone frequently and it doesnt do anything. Any other ideas? Putting in a bug report as well.

Reply to Haptic feedback in background
I have the same issue. I am trying to a workout app and I would like to send alert to the user via haptic feedback while he is training (and not necessarily looking the watch). I believe Apple makes those kind of restrictions to save battery life, but you end up with a useless device.
