I have been trying to google around a lot for this, but unable to find anything. Is there any plan for Apple to open up SDK for NFC and allow developers to use NFC tags?
Does Apple open up SDK access to the NFC controller for other developers?
Hello.I want to make a Reward pass with NFC, but I'm curious about how to issue Enhanced NFC Certificate from Apple. What's requirements for issuing that? I'm not yet employed, then am I not qualified to develop NFC-enabled pass?Is there anyone to tell the detail requirements for it?
Same here, with NFC one should be able to simulate smartcards. We can't just get certificates

I am writing an apps with swift and Xcode 8 IDE for an iPad. The apps is using a physical barcode reader and an NFC card reader device. These devices is detected as keyboards by iOS. With this, the on-screen keyboard will not appear even if a text field is selected. In some part of my application I need a virtual keyboard to appear when a text field is selected. How can I overcome this issue? Thnks
Is there an easy way to test an NFC-enabled pass without a terminal?Unfortunately, I don't access to an Apple Pay terminal. And I was wondering if there is a way to have another device (iPhone, or iPad, general NFC reader) to act as a terminal for testing purposes? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.Cheers
From the docs:Important: NFC-enabled pass keys are only supported in passes that contain an Enhanced Passbook/NFC certificate. For more information, contact merchant support at https://www.apple.com/support/apple-pay/feedback/.

Which type of purchases are valid for apple pay?Apple pay was introduced as 'replacement' for cards. Also many services like internet shops adopt this system for simplicity.1. Replacement for cards ( NFC ) at shops.2. Buy online goods from internet shops. Is it possible to buy something 'digital' like subscription for some magazine? Is it possible to pay services fees? ( Food organization that deliver food to apartments, for example, has monthly payment model )
Did you ever find a solution on NFC tags? I have a similar need but as far as I can figure there is no way to read an NFC tag from an iPhone? Is there another low cost tag solution?

I have a question about suppressing Apple Pay when a particular app is open. The app concerned displays a QR code which is read by a reader. Unfortunately, the reader is within the vicinity of a fixed NFC reader and is causing Apple Pay to open, stopping the QR code from being read. I’m aware that one option is to place the QR code within Apple’s Wallet where the NFC reader can be disabled, however I’ve also been told that it’s possible to resolve this without needing to pass the QR code through to the Wallet. Any suggestions welcome (moving the reader isn’t currently an option!). Thanks.
I've found this on Apple's website. Is this not therefore a solution?Suppressing the Display of Apple Pay PassesUse this entitlement to keep your app in the foreground when operating near NFC or other RF readers. This entitlement enables the In the entitlement’s file, add the com.apple.developer.passkit.pass-presentation-suppression key with a Boolean value of YES. You need special permission from Apple to submit apps with this key enabled. For more information, contactapple-pay-inquiries@apple.com.
