Just checking the forum before filing a bug report. All 10.11 beta versions so far are not displaying Japanese kanji corectly incertain app UI elements, such as Mail, Calendar and also Notification Center. In Calendar for example the Japanese kanji labels for day, week month display as ..., as if there isn't enough space.New system font issues? Has anybody else encoutered this issue? Thanks

I like everybody's answers. My Apple Watch app would not do well in the wild without its iPhone. The iPhone creates the data for the Apple Watch. But what would have really nailed it for me and caused me to switch to 2.0 in a heartbeat, is if they had added a calendar UI to the mix. Something that would allow the user to select two dates from a calendar.I put in a feature enhancement in the bug reporter, but it was eventually rejected as being a duplicate of another request. I was hopeful that 2.0 would include a calendar UI, but it was not to be. Apple, please put a calendar UI into Watchkit.

I'm using the Utility face with sunrise/set, weather, and calendar. I've been having the random lock ups and slowdowns since wOS2B4 install as well. I notice often the temperature isn't loaded on the Utility face and sometimes the sunrise/set info on the Utility face is not populated. I have not tried to use another face yet. Yesterday, I had the watch lock up at least 4 times which required a hard reset to get it responsive again.

On 10.11 Beta (15A226f) - in the Console I see quite a bit of these messages when Calendar is open - also I sometimes can't create new Calendar entries - tells me 'server is busy'. Not sure if other people have seen similar issues.kernel[0]: Sandbox: mdworker(483) deny(1) file-read-data /Users/myuser/Library/Calendars/CBC104AF-F501-4AA5-8F21-30A1F7CF4566.exchange/Info.plistCalendarAgent[297]: [com.apple.calendar.store.log.persistent.operation] [CalOperationQueue (x-coredata://68582EB3-B6CA-4851-9FA9-3EA17EC66A28/ExchangePrincipal/p21): Executing <CalExchangeGetAttachmentOperation: 0x7ffe638928c0> caused an exception [<SOAPFault 0x7ffe5e09b5d0> valueForUndefinedKey:]: this class is not key value coding-compliant for the key Code..]CalendarAgent[297]: [com.apple.calendar.store.log.persistent.operation] [CalOperationQueue (x-coredata://68582EB3-B6CA-4851-9FA9-3EA17EC66A28/ExchangePrincipal/p21): <CalExchangeGetAttachmentOperation: 0x7ffe66aab330> failed with error Err

Thanks - I haven't played with that setting before - having ditched default calendar a long time ago and using third-party cals. Glad that you've solved your issue. I'm still having strange behavior with Contacts - UK region, address fields don't show user input when adding or changing an address.

Hi,Yep. I've noticed the same thing. It actually seems to be a problem with calendars that are associated with an iCloud account. I can fetch reminders and events for calendars stored on an Exchange server 100% of the time but iCloud based calendars fail 100% of the time. It's like EventKit just doesn't see them.--Andy

I have the same issue. I have public beta 2, I think (15A225f).I can't also open Calendar and iCloud tab in Preferences crashes.Based on the stacktrace I saw that Calendar crash is somehow related to Contacts crash. I tried deleting contacts & calendar settings and directories under ~/Library but that did't help.

This actually makes El Captain not-usable so far. Exchange calendar not working is quite annoying. And no official statements by Apple yet.

I am trying to create an app which would try to subscribe multiple calendars that are shared on iCloud with links such aswebcal://p23-calendars.icloud.com/published/2/oR3LtfcYCMGWOJunGttFBWy-dfg0MeVXoIsiqPcBhhs-cjullI1UMVoAzb8biyGC4TFdhzr4CBAhZ1PugqrjKQ_xvyQhQdSN84nejMV4nkU.As I did some research, I learned that it is possible to just open the URL and let iOS do the rest, like thisUIApplication.sharedApplication().openURL(NSURL(string: URL)!)However, after doing this the system shows several alerts asking to confirm subscription and whether to view the added calendar, which would be very not user-friendly when a lot of calendars are to be subscribed to.So is there a way to avoid all the alerts, perhaps by subscribing in code? If that's not an option, how can I add completion block to the alerts shown so that at least I can show the alerts one after another?I am truly grateful if anyone could help me.
+1 on the calendars. Mail seems to work okay and now calendars does too, but calendars just don't show up when checked and enabled.Does anyone have a bug number for this? I submitted one with DP1 but they closed it saying it was a duplicate. As far as I can tell, I can't see what bugs are out there.

An update here. I'm running iOS 9 Public Beta 2 (since 25 July) and now I'm seeing some suggested events appearing in Calendar. But the three emails (so far) that have caused suggested events have seemingly little in common. One has schema.org tags embedded in it but the others don't. I also have several emails in my Mail app that are referring to events that are not causing suggested events.Any documentation that people are aware of?

I am able to add my 2013 Exchange account in Sys Pref>Internet Accts all all things are checked (mail, contacts, calendar, notes, reminders)...however calendar does not work properly. 50% of the time it never shows. the other 50% it shows temporarily but then vanishes when i go back into Mail.app to do anything Exchange-related. Have deleted calendar containers in Library as well as application support .plist and cache. no luck.
