4.3 Spam issue and Apple isn't answering

Hi,

We are developing a dating app and got rejected by the Appstore several times. So I decided to change our business model, marketing, and took out certain functions after having a phone call with apple.

I deleted the old bundle, and created a new one.

Now I got rejected again for 4.3 Spam issues. However, I deleted the old bundle BEFORE submitting the new one. The bundle is the only one I have in my developer account.

All I wanted to have is a fresh start. I tried to clearify that but now Apple isn't responding since 7 days.

"We noticed that your app provides the same feature set as other apps submitted to the App Store; it simply varies in content or language, which is considered a form of spam.

The next submission of this app may require a longer review time, and this app will not be eligible for an expedited review until this issue is resolved."

Any idea how long I have to wait for an answer, or is that some kind of unlimited time ban?

I think you are internalizing/misreading the rejection...

"your app provides the same feature set as other apps" - 'other apps' being other apps from other devs already in the store, not your 'other' app(s). Has nothing to do with taking another run at it and comparing whatever you've last submitted against what you submitted before...this rejection is simply based on what you last submitted.

I doubt you will receive a response simply based on where you are now. You need instead to make a unique app, which when submitted will put you to the back of the review queue, thus the longer review time.
