Microsoft Office 2016 on OS X El Capitan Beta 6

Office 2016 Mostly works well EXCEPT for this new thing since installing Beta 6: Can't SAVE AS or SAVE a new document! It crashes Word every single time! I can name a document, open it, and save it in the same place -- that's it! Anybody have this issue and/or found a solution?

This is likely an Apple bug because Office worked just fine until beta 6.

Nope, didn't work. Only lets me save to OneDrive Folder or crash r us.

Save Issue. Excel and PowerPoint can save locally and to OneDrive. Word only saves to OneDrive.

Seems to be an issue specific to Word on El Capitain. Here's a link to MS discussion on the topic. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/mac/forum/macoffice2016-macword/word-2016-for-mac-crashes-when-saving-or-saving-as/9e7d14a6-6ae4-43ed-b9da-70cb01f1dab4?auth=1

I am with OS 10.11 and Office 15.13.1. The issue is the same, unable to save files. Is this issue form Apple or from Office?

Hard to say, as it pertains to the ability to save, it could be either OS X or Office 2016. Either way, I still have no issue, even on Developer Beta 7.

I find that all Office 2016 Mac programs, including Excel, OneNote, Word, and Outlook, are crashing and/or freezing all day long in El Capitan. This is very frustrating. If this doesn't get better I may have to leave Office.

I found a fix that works for folks with Office 365 apps crashing on startup, or indefinite bouncing.

Open up Activity Monitor, and look for a pid called "Office365ServiceV2" and kill it. You will notice suddenly the apps will start to respond as the service relaunches. It appears there is something up with the background service with 10.11 that causes it to hang, and becuase Office 2016 relies on this service it crashes as a result.

Hope this helps others.
