External testers are not getting invites

Is anybody else finding that their internal testers are not receiving the invites? I have tested several accounts and they have not received the invite even after deleting them and re-inviting them. This seems to be an ongoing issue that has not been fixed. I have also noticed that users that were added one day do not appear a couple of days later.

In general the new interface is extremely slow, difficult to navigate and very inconsistent.

Haven't been able to get invites to new external testers. Have you found a resoltuion to this yet?

Same here. Hundreds of external testers aren't even getting an invitation. How am I supposed to rely on TestFlight for distribution when they won't even send out the invites?

I'm having this issue as well. Some get their invites and some do not (and yes, they checked their SPAM folders). From my end, iTunes/TestFlight shows they have been "Notified". Some don't show as "Notified" until a day later.

Running into the same issue as well. Everyone internally gets the invite and updates, but only about 25% externally have our app installed. I've checked with a couple of external testers and they can't find the invite email anywere in their inbox or spam.

I've noticed this too. When I send out a beta to External Testers, only a handfull get changed to "Notified" with today's date (most say "Notified" but have an older date from Oct or Nov). I've contacted some of those testers and they say that they never received a push notification from the TestFlight app (nor did they receive an email).

If I remove them and then add them again (Add Existing Tester), then the push notification seems to go through. Debating whether I should remove everyone and add them all again. Otherwise it's just random.

I'm happy to see this still going on in Jan 2016.

I'm seeing at least 20% of my invites don't arrive, even with delete/re-add... did anyone get any response to this? Some people said they called support and it was "fixed" for them.

same 😟

Same here 😟.

I'm having the same issue. Each new TestFlight build only goes to a small portion of my external users. I've some success deleting all users and reimporting them but that is not a viable option for a system that should automatically notify all users of a new build.

Same issue here. We just added about 50 external testers using the same CSV file. About 30% of the users do not get notified. We have not been able to establish why some notifications go out while others are unsucessful. If we delete the users that were not notified and then manually enter them back...the notification does go out. We are about to bite the bullet and redo all the unsucessful entries manually....but it'd be great to know what is happening here. We plan on adding many more users..but this won't do.

Also seeing this.

Out of 100 invites only 30 got the email! They can't find it in their spam folder and I have no way to give them the invite code myself. This makes me and Apple look quite amature.

I am getting 20% at most going through and have spent hundreds of hours on this over a couple of months. It's pointless generating leads for test users because no-one you've just met wants to spend time continually checking their email each time you try to send it to them a dozen times, which seems to be the average number of times it takes for them to get it. And of course you don't know whether they get it the first time or the 12th time.

It's absolutely outrageous that Apple has left this for a couple of years as a major issue. Why is this not being sorted out???!

This is awesome. I just moved my teams over to using Testflight, only to discover that it essentially doesn't work. If you can't reliably get external testers the app to test, then there's no reason to use TestFlight...

Is this just an echo chamber, or do devs ever look in here?
