Code redemption temporarily unavailable?

same error for me. Have tried logging in and out but no joy.

I've got the same error. Neither AppleCare nor Apple Dev support has come up with a solution yet.

Is it the same case with you guys that if you replace any character you get the same error?

Found a solution on another thread. RAPID FIRE clicking of the Redeem button. It took like 15 or 20 clicks in rapid succession but it eventually gave me the successful message. Then it started downloading under purchases.

Same error here. Tried redeeming via iTunes but got meeasge to say the code could only be redeemed in the Mac App Store.

It finally worked! If you are not in the US, try downloading a VPN client (i.e. Hotspot Shield) and redeem the code. You can disable it later and continue the download. Atleast that's what worked for me 🙂

Seems odd, but this worked for me. Downloading as speak.

For me, if I went in to the MAS by clicking on the download link in developer.apple.com, I had no Redeem button. However, I had better luck by going to Featured, on the top, and Redeem, on the right. Then, I could bet the Redeem button. Hope it works...

I can't even get the redemption UI to appear in the Mac App Store. It just opens a blank screen, with no tab selected. I suspect it's because the servers are getting barraged.

It would appear us UK citizens are second rate developers lol 😁

Click on the Redeem link on Featured page of Mac App Store.

Mine just worked after 1.5 days not working. I clicked on the redeem button about 30 times, with about a second between each click. The last one worked and download started.

Radpid clicking of the submit button worked for me too. After trying every other solution I cold think of, this was by far the easiest and most of all it worked !!

Mine is doing the same. I have tried repeatedly pressing the redeem button but it is still not working.

I can't believe this did it! If you don't see the submit button, click on the code, then tab out and shift-tab back in. That did the trick for me.

I was skeptical but I tried redeeming the code by clicking over and over. Eventually it worked. I probably had to click 50 times.

VPN worked!

Very odd... Spamming left click and enter and eventually (after 30 odd clicks) it seemed to freeze then give me the successful message! Downloading now 🙂 thanks!

Finally...thanks for all the tips...I clicked redeem what felt like a hundred times. Finally, followed anothers suggestion to log out and back in to App Store and startted "redeeming" a dozen times or so again. FINALLY...it accepted my code and began download. Thanks so much!! 😁
