New iOS 9 beta 2

Let's hope that Apple will release iOS 9 Beta 2 today, because of the much talked about losing battery power quickly iOS 9 Beta 1

in the past that's been the general timeframe - i've gotten some "unable to check for update" messages, which i don't remember seeing in the past (certainly not in my experience since ios 9 b1) which makes me hopeful. but i suppose it could be at any point today through even next monday. fingers crossed, though.

BGR claims to have an inside source that says probably today (and for 8.4 GM too), but may be next Monday. Most likely just trying to predict based on past cycles like the rest of us though.

I thought that they released all betas on tuesdays last year, but I may be wrong. I hope they will release the new beta today, it really needs to fix the battery drain issue. I understand that with all betas the battery life get's a bit worse, but my iPhone 6 only lasts about 3 hours, with minimal use.

They didn't really say anything then. "It could be today, but it could also not"

iPhone 6 Plus battery runs out very quickly. We need to understand the iOS 9 Beta. Apple is hard at work on the iOS 9 Beta 2 will be released as soon as possible

Yeah I trust the homeless guy down the street who rambles about the end of the world more than anything BGR outputs. Their entire existance is for clickbait articles with no real information.

No new beta...

How would you know there is no new beta? It's only 10:00am in California and they usually release new beta's around 12:00pm California time. We just have to wait.

Update always was on 10am Colifornia time

Usually even if they release the update at that time, it doesn't update throughout the system until later. Plus, what if they decided not to release it at 10am? It's not like it's against the law to release a new beta after 10am California time. Just wait and see, and if not today, mabye tomorrow (tuesday).

C'mon man, put a question mark. This makes it look like it's actually out today.

It would be extremely awesome if they did release it today, however over 90% of Apple's past releases hit on a Tuesday, even though this last beta was first made available on a Monday. Given their past record I would expect it before end of day tomorrow.

But I'll be happy to be wrong on this 🙂
