iOS 14 Beta Battery drain on iPhone 6s

iPhone XR and after 14 update my battery drains in about 6 hours. This is horrible

i have an IPhone 11 Pro Max and before updating to IOS 14 my phones battery lasted 3 days til it needed to be plugged in to recharge now the battery discharges slightly faster. Come On Apple Don’t let us down !!!

my Iphone 7plus is also draining battery so quickly after upgrading ios14 , i hope they fix this bug quickly.

i use an iphone 11 and since the ios 14 update my battery is draining alot come on apple solve this

Same here with iPhone 8 Plus. Since iOS 14 phone batterie drain even without using it.

UPDATE:

I went back to iOS 13.7 while it’s still being signed by apple I highly recommend you guys do it. After a few hours I rechecked the battery health and it’s now reading 93% capacity and so far no unexpected crashes or shutdowns.

The new features are nice but just are not worth the hassle.

Just google “iPhone firmware” and download the right ipsw file. Open iTunes, hold shift while clicking on Restore and select the io13.7 file.

once it’s done remember to turn off automatic updates and you’ll be set.

Same issue! I have a iPhone pro max 256 gb. The day I installed this new iOS my battery drains like crazy. My usage hasn’t changed what so ever. The battery is draining 4x time faster. Apple needs to fix this!!!

Dear Apple, you did a big mess with IOS 14.
Iphone 8 battery is discharging 2 times faster. When the hotspot is activated, my phone overheats!
Very disappointing.

Guys same issue here, battery life before was 2 days, now I have to charge it the afternoon of the first day.

or it’s the health app or the widgets, but please fix it!

Anyone seeing a battery drain, don't panic. For the first 24-48 hrs IOS 14 is reindexing your entire iPhone and this takes a lot of juice. It will go back to normal in a day or two.

iPhone 7+ here and I’m having to charge it 2x a day! Prior to iOS 14, I charged it every 36 hours or so. It’s really an issue since it has the program for my continuous glucose monitor. I can’t let my phone die at any point since I depend on it to alert me if my blood sugar is low.

of course, I have the same issue with my series 5 watch but at least I have a series 6 on the way.

I am having a severe battery drain problem on my IPhone 8 Plus installed iOS 14.

Having similar problems. I have an iPhone 8 and I installed iOS 14 yesterday. Went to bed my battery was at 80% and woke up to it being at 27%. This has never happened before with previous iOS updates on this phone.

I checked the battery activity in settings and it says that there was background activity in Maps and Siri.

Having the same problem here! I have an iPhone 11 and read that it may take a day or 2 for the new ios to configure to my phone but it’s been almost 4 days already and if I were to compare my battery usage and activity from the past 10 days, I can clearly see that my battery has been depleting twice as fast ever since installing ios14. I have also been experiencing significant battery reductions overnight (up to 40%). I’ve tried restarting my phone and reducing any background apps that may have caused the battery to deplete this fast but nothing seems to be working. Please try to fix this bug asap 🙏

Same! Installed the Released version on Wed night ever since it's been a drain. Tech Support says no Known issues yet suggested a reset, then a complete reinstall. A waste of Time still draining 5x faster than before the update. I'm disabling automatic updates from this point forward.

Same issue here! I have an iPhone 11, and it goes down a % every minute! I guess with all the new things they put on here, it’s really hard on the battery.

same here, on 7.......battery drained 40% in two hours.....why does apple release crap like this without addressing the power drain issue? will delete everything new that i dont need/use and see if that helps.

Still with the stable version of iOS 14 released and running for more that 3 days battery drain is present. My iPhone 7 has all possible tricks in place to mitigate that, statistics don’t show relevant data what drain the system at all and battery get drained faster all the time.

There is clear something in the OS badly implemented.

There is just one more possibility and that is a reset of the phone to see, if the reconfiguring can help or just give you an feeling that you tried all, before you get that feeling that apple is not anymore what it was and probably you should think about possibe new investments in anything from them.

e.g. Airpods pro have a battery drain issue as well. After they get to market 3x fw update was released, but still they has battery drai. Issue in place and they replace them just like hw is broken all the time. Ok maybe can be a bad hw as well, but I buy them two weaks ago and after 3 days of usage, the issue was present and new fw came before ios14, but did not solve that at all 🙈.

After i upgraded to IOS 14 my phone cant be charge always stuck at the lowest previous percentage now my phone stuck at 15% and it wont go up and the battery drains real fast. Now this makes me thinking did the developers do a test run before launching the new ios system?

Please give me a solution because that iphone is important to me without it im facing difficulties towards my college activity

Today I updated my SE (1st gen), I lost 60% from my battery in 1 hour without open apps, only on settings and interface settings. Next update to fix this it will be soon or we must go back to iOS 13 until you will fix the problem? I need my phone for some health problems, thank you in advance!
