Prior to downloading iOS 14 on my iPhone 11
my battery health was at 100%, since downloading my battery health has dropped to 88%. It is taking 12 hours to charge my phone 100% and then it drains within 2 hours sitting on my desk at work. i've read that it will fix itself, but will my battery health stay at 88% or will it go back to 100%?

iPhone 7 Plus. iOS 14 newly downloaded and showing significant battery drain. Hopefully we’ll have a response soon.
Battery drain is very much one the iphone x . One day i had to charge three times. I hope apple resolves this problem asap. On nine hours usage i had charged three time.
iOS 14 update is draining battery on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Shows that Notes App Widget is running in background constantly and consuming 75% of battery life since I took it off charger this morning at 6:15am. It is now 7:28pm and I have 20% battery left.
after updated the latest iOS 14 , battery usage was too fast and my phone is warm to hold by hand ! Can do something about this !
It’s driving me insane! My iPhone Xr is draining so fast! I hope that the next update will be much better!

my iphone x goes to 100 to 50% in like 1 hours, i got 100% battery health
Guysss! So I’ve noticed the same thing with my battery going SUPER quick. It used to last me all day and now, it’s only a few hours. NOTES TAKES UP 70% OF YOUR BATTERY USAGE (for whatever stupid reason) but make sure to not have it running in the background. I just closed it out completely, put my phone on the charger and it went from 6% to 20% in 7 minutes. Hopefully that helps some of you, if not all! (:
IOS 14 on iphone 8 is making battery drain fast.
I'd like to know what's being done so that my Iphone 8 will go back to being reliable.
After this new update, my phone won't even charge fast at all.
Would be nice to have a new bug fix fast since I really rely on my phone for work.

Disabling Optimized Battery Charging until next day did it for me! or maybe it just done with the indexing task now, who knows?
Same issue with the Batterie drain on iPhone11 - somehow Google Maps background tracking consumed a lot of Batterie but even if I turn it off my batterie goes from 100 to 70 in 1 hour. So I have to charge my phone 2 times per day - this wasn’t the case before the update - hope there will be a fix soon.
My iPhone XS was charged to 96% at 2:30 and by 6:20 it was down to 20%. Half of that time was spent driving without touching my phone. The other half was spent cooking. Mayyyybe 10 minutes of actively looking at my phone double checking recipes. iOS 14 needs a bug fix ASAP. I’ve been running iOS 14 beta since July but the public version is draining the crap out of the battery.
My iPhone 6s is unusable. Battery lasts 2 hours in standby doing nothing. It's still at 100% in terms of difference from new in the battery health. IOS 13 are unsigned now. Cannot downgrade. Disgrace.
I installed iOS 14 just a few days ago. It’s absolutely eating battery time alive. Went from 88%, down to 8%, in a little over 2 hours, with very little phone use. Battery health is still 100%. History is showing photos having the most battery usage, despite me closing that app out completely, along with all other apps. Apple needs to fix this ASAP
Today got the Public Beta 2 of iOS 14 and just after installing it, within 20 minutes battery dropped from 100% to 80%. As soon as I take it from the charger now, it drops immediately. Can not imagine it will be the indexer...
After upgrading to iOS 14, my iPhone 7Plus’s battery is draining so fast. I tried iOS 14 developer beta 14.2 but not working. Please fix it!!!
I’ve heard people saying this is normal whenever a new iOS is released, but I’ve had every single iPhone since the original came out in 07’, and I personally have only witnessed it once. Can’t remember which iOS it was, been many moons ago, but there was a bug in the original release, which drained the battery very quickly. Apple subsequently released the first patch, and it was cured. That was the ONLY time I’ve ever seen an issue like this, so I’d say it’s not normal, that there is a bug with the first version of 14, which will require a patch.
I’m having the same problem. Installed IOS 14 on max. 1st day battery drained. 2nd day restarted phone and turned off background apps. Battery drained. 3rd battery drained. Currently on 4th day restarted and battery still draining fast. This morning when I plugged it up battery percentage was 92...after charging for about 20 mins battery percentage 91...please fix this soon.

i am currently working in a covid ward as duty doctor, hav to update d reports freqntly.previoulsy if i take phone at 90%, by the time i return(by 6hours- it would hav come to 50-40%) but now its even cmng to 1% also.
after installing ios-14 its draining in such a way dat i shuld carry a power bank as a backup to charge my phone.

I have an iPhone 6s 128mb with a replaced battery. (Apple had a program where they offered a change of battery for the 6 model iPhones with known bad batteries for a lower cost) It was great as long as it lasted. Because now after installing iOS 14 it’s worse then it was before they changed the battery. Please fix this Apple, and don’t make me have to buy the latest phone in order to use your iOS. It’s not good for anyone. And also not for the environment. Hoping they will fix this soon!

iOS 14 public draining iphone x battery wicked fast. did not experience this with beta. can't even make 8 hours now. please fix!
Same issue with my iPhone X. Within 1.5hr of waking up and taking my phone off the charger my phone battery is at 50%. This was not an issue that happened slowly, it was as soon as I updated. Do better.
