UIWebView App Submission and Release plan

Hi,

I have application which is not yet migrated to WKWebView, I am currently working for migration changes. As I understand after 1 Dec 2020, we can't submit application to App Store if its using UIWebView. I would like to know if app submission is done before 1 Dec along with approval from Apple but I want to release the app to public in end of Dec or start of Jan 2021. Will apple block the app from going public? or app must release to public before 1 Dec 2020?

While Apple did move forward with the April 2020 deadline for new apps, they have announced that they would be extending the date which they will no longer accept updates containing UIWebView has been extended "beyond the end of 2020. We’ll let you know when a new deadline is confirmed."

Thanks for quick response. I guess that means, without a worry I can keep app on hold in Beta or Pilot till Jan 2021.

Hi Apple Team,

Do we have any new update on this?
We would like to know what's the future plan by Apple since hybrid project migration is giving lot of trouble with WKWebView. If we get fix date then we can plan release with current app with UIWebView until new migration is settled.
