Can user with older version of iOS buy an app that supports only newer versions?

I have an app that supports only iOS 14 or higher. Can user with older version of iOS buy this app? I don't want unhappy customers. Does AppStore handle this automatically? Thanks in advance for response.

No. There is no magic, You will have to code & provide support for lower APIs.
