How best to distribute a B2B white label template based app?

Hi

We looking for guidance on the best way to distribute our B2B data collection app.

The app currently has our own branding and will be listed in the App Store under our own company name. However, some of our customers who will be using the app have asked if it would be possible to distribute a version that has their own company name and branding on it.

The app is purely B2B. We supply it business customers. Our customers then grant access to users at associated businesses. The app is used for data collection.

I understand that template based apps are governed by s4.2.6 of the Guidelines "Apps created from a commercialized template or app generation service will be rejected unless they are submitted directly by the provider of the app’s content."

We are wondering if there might be might be a more suitable method for distributing our app, such as Custom Apps / Apple Business Manager. However, the end users are using their own personal mobile phones, do not belong to a corporate Active Directory and there is no Mobile Device Management.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Which means you want to publish on the public AppStore. Right ?

AFAIK, this is not possible, app would be rejected as spam on the public Appstore.

Did you consider an alternate business model, licensing source code of the app ? Part of it could be as framework, to protect your IP.

In addition, they (or you) should have to include some features specific to their own app, otherwise they'll be rejected as spam when they submit. In that sense, your basic app would be a framework on which multiple apps are built.
