I have been searching some information about IAP and Apple Pay online recently. Now, I know they are different. However, after going through the Apple doc below: https://developer.apple.com/app-store/review/guidelines/#business
I am still confused which way I should apply to sell my goods.
So, my app sells "plans" to customers, which the purchased plan by user will later on be sent to a trusted server. And after that the server will configure other outside resources (e.g. cameras) based on the plan.
My question is, should I use in-app purchase? And if I can use ApplePay, is it possible that I implement a subscription mechanism on my own? Will Apple approve that?
