I understand why there isn’t an API to remove items from the library or playlist, but I propose a way to safely remove items from the library or playlist which would show a system alert to confirm the removal. This is exactly how the deletion is allowed for the Photos Library via third-party apps.

The place to file a feature request is Feedback Assistant.
Even if another developer has already requested the same feature, duplicates are helpful for us to gauge interest in certain functionality!

In case any Apple folks are looking for feedbacks regarding this, shortly after WWDC I filed a feedback (FB10042390) to add that functionality to the new MusicLibrary class and last year I filed one to add the functionality to the Apple Music API as FB9195700. Fingers crossed this gets added!
