I'm cyblock.dev presently working on an OCR project, python has a shortcoming with extracting text from image as it can't do it perfectly. So I tried the mac shortcuts extract text from image feature, mehn it worked perfectly with 90% accuracy but when I retried on the iphone shortcuts with the same feature, the accuracy is 100%.
Kudos to apple developers on this, now the problem is I want that 100% accuracy on my mac shortcut, probably it's gonna come with the next update of shortcuts. I can't run the python commands on iPhone so having the 100% on mac shortcuts will be a game changer, and guess what you don't need paying those big amount for OCR apis.
There is a way to integrate shortcuts into python, and it works perfectly
