No in app purchase in app but on website, app links to site. Allowed?

Hello, I have been trying to make a cost-effective option where i can have users in my app host classes. for other uses to pay for it in app without 30% being taken from them by Appstore, with in app purchases. I was recommended to remove the purchase from the app but instead have user click on button that leads to website where they can book the classes. Is this breaking guideline or not? I doesn't want to spend funding doing it just to be rejected. The money is for users not the app so when apple store takes 30% that will deter a lot of teachers. Please let me know. Thanks

Hello @HamidahHobi. You haven't given enough detail about your app to give guidance, so I suggest you carefully read the App Store Review Guidelines, especially the Business section, to get some clarification on what is and what isn't allowed.

If you post more details, you may be able to get further guidance.

Read the current news about Spotify and their audio books offerings. You'll see that what you're wanting to do DOES break the TOS...at least for them because they are now in competition with Apple for the sale of audio books. Good luck!
