Does anyone know how to help me out?

Years ago I uploaded my App and then it was moved from the store 10Years ago.

Meanwhile I am back and try to upload a new version.

  • I described a new version in Appstoreconnect
  • I made a new code with Swift
  • Then I saw that meanwhile you upload through Archive. In Archive I found several old Apps from me but not the one and only I want to update. I tried it out even if with new Bundle and String. But get the same ERROR see:

App record creation failed due to an invalid attribute. Request failed with error code

"ENTITY_ERROR.ATTRIBUTE.INVALID.DUPLICATE.SAME_ACCOUNT", and reason "The provided entity includes an attribute with a value that has already been used on this account. The app name you entered is already being used for another app in your account. If you would like to use the name for this app you will need to submit an update to your other app to change the name, or remove it from App Store Connect."

Does anyone know?

Getting the exact same error. I rewrote my app with React Native and I'm trying to basically update the old one, have the same bundle ID in all my config files but when I try to archive it it is being treated as a new app in the dropdown at the top left of the window (strangely it is showing the name of the "new" app without a space).

If you do find a solution pls let me know. I'm getting close to remove my old app from the App Store entirely and just submitting this as a new one, but of course that means I'll lose all existing reviews.

I found out that "Deleting the old App completely from Store in AppConnect" worked out. No new version, just deleting. Then adding a complete new Version with exactly the same name made no problem no more while uploading. I made this several times now. It works well.

I got the same error. I solved it by changing the name when creating the archive from the XCode
