Glitch with safari inspect element

Hello,

I noticed there's a glitch with inspect element. Under elements, when I try to uncheck a style property, the whole element's CSS gets removed, sometime's the whole webpage's. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to fix this issue.

Thanks

This issue should be fixed since Safari Technology Preview 160: https://webkit.org/blog/13639/release-notes-for-safari-technology-preview-160/

Fixed corrupted styles when adding a new property to a rule with a commented-out property in the Styles sidebar (256410@main)

Recent Safari updates should include this fix. What Safari version are you running?

Can you verify if this still occurs with a recent version of Safari Technology Preview? https://developer.apple.com/safari/resources/

If it still occurs, please file an issue on http://webkit.org/new-inspector-bug with steps to reproduce

Hello,

I wanted to report that I've been encountering the same issue as the user who submitted a bug regarding Safari's Developer Tools. Like them, when I attempt to uncheck a style property under the 'Elements' section, the entire element's CSS gets removed, and sometimes even the entire webpage's CSS. To provide further clarity, I've attached a video in MOV format demonstrating this issue.

I want to emphasize that I've ensured all my software is up to date, and this problem has been persisting for a minimum of four months.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Best regards, Lukáš
