The app freezes on iOS 17 on the iPhone 14 Pro Max

After updating to iOS 17 (on the user's iPhone 14 Pro Max), the app freezes on the splash screen. Reinstalling the app and restarting the phone did not help the user.

So far, we've only received a complaint from one user. We have also tested the app on the simulator (iPhone 14 Pro Max), on a real iPhone 14 Pro Max device, and on other devices - everything is working fine.

Is there any advice on how to assist this user who is unable to launch our app?

Don't you get the crash reports? You should be able to find the issue in there.

I have encountered the same issue on same device, if I use chrome browser and try to click on a password input field, the keyboard and browser is frozen. This happens consistently. - My thought where that the specific app was causing this issue.

Any other experiencing the same?

Facing similar issues on iphone 14 pro max after upgrading to new ios. For eg. The Bolt app stays on the splash screen for almost 2 mins. And just before i am about to give up it comes up. Then typing any location is almost impossible. It’s so so slow that after every keystroke i have to wait.

Same pattern with many other apps.
