Hi! I don’t know if you’re still looking for an answer to your question but, I can tell you that if it’s just an xip file you can extract it’s content using 7zip but if it’s .xip program, you will need to run MacOS with a virtual machine such as VMWare or VirtualBox.

7zip doesn't work for this situation anymore.
I tried File Viewer Plus, it can read the .xip file.
