Making an iOS app with Python Backend

I am wondering if it's possible to create an iOS application or if there is any framework where I can use Python in the backend. I understand that since Python is an interpreted language it might make it slower on mobile devices but I wanted to know if there is any way to do it.

You can use any backend you want in an iOS app, including a Python backend.

I haven't used a Python backend in an iOS app so I can't provide more details on how to do it.
