New developer account can't log in - Apple outage?

When we send an account invite to a new developer using TestFlight, they are bounced back to the login screen after entering their password and verification code. Resetting the password doesn't help.

We have never seen this before this morning, and now it happens on all new account requests.

Any ideas? Is Apple experiencing an outage with their TestFlight or developer accounts?

When a new user clicks on the Accept Invitation link in the "You're invited to join a development team" email and they enter their password correctly, they receive a "Welcome to the Apple Developer Program" email but they are returned to the login screen and they still show up as pending (greyed out) in App Store Connect > Users and Access > People. It appears the sign-up process is getting stuck.

happening to me as well been trying for last 6-7 hours

It works as expected now. Thank you to whoever fixed it!
