Xcode Predictive Code Completion can't download

I got the Xcode 16 beta a few months and I downloaded the predictive code completion model, and it worked, but then recently I deleted Xcode and the Developer directories and then installed a newer beta, but I couldn't download the model because of this issue:

"The operation couldn’t be completed. (ModelCatalog.CatalogErrors.AssetErrors error 1.)" AND "Failed - Failed to find asset: com.apple.gm.safety_deny.input.code_intelligence.base - no asset"

Then expanding this window gave me this error:

I have uninstalled then reinstalled Xcode 16.1 beta and Xcode 16.0 beta, but none of them worked.

Hi Omeriadon, have you tried to restart your Mac, relaunch Xcode, and attempt once again?

Encountered the same issue.

Tried reinstalling and restarting, but none of it works. Hope this could be adressed soon, or at least a workaround would be provided.

Already filed a report using Feedback Assistant.

Exactly the same issue with production Xcode 16.0 and macOS 15.0.1. Is it due to the macOS 15.0.1 update?

Xcode was working fine, nothing changed except perhaps the macOS version, when Xcode said there was a download error and this error. Feedback : FB15483047

The following day, after switching on the Mac, Xcode showed a message about Predictive Code Completion successfully downloaded. Don't know what the issue was, nor if something was changed on Apple download servers.

Problem solved.
