The password app on my iPad has stopped working. It goes through the Face ID then just shows a blank screen. It still seems to be applying ID / passwords when logging onto to sites that need them but I cannot manage the passwords at all. This seems to have happened after upgrading to iOS 18.1 beta but it is working fine on my iPhone which is also on 18.1 beta. Unfortunately I am forced to use Microsoft Authenticator for some apps but this has not been an issue to date and again is also installed on my iPhone. Please, does anyone have an explanation or fix for this as I rely on Apple’s password manager across a range of systems and I’m concerned I will end up losing my passwords. Thank you

I did but they took it off and told me to post here because problem occ after the latest beta update.
Try turning your iPad off and then on again. I did that and it worked for me.

I have the same problem. Mine however, is touch ID, which then shows a blank screen. I have powered off and restarted. I have upgraded to 18 decimal one decimal one. The problem persists.
Tried that but no change. Some passwords will autofill, others not. Happened after the last upgrade
The new password app was working OK for few days. However today it forced me to change some passwords due to data leaks. There was no way to cancel or avoid changing the passwords. Only option was to close the app.
I changed the app settings to uncheck Detect Compromise Passwords after doing so the app stopped working. Just gives a white screen
Restarting my IPad does not resolve the issue.
Deleting and reinstalling the app resolved the problem. The passwords are kept and not deleted when reinstalling the app.
Solution is to delete and reinstall the app. The passwords are not deleted by doing so.
Deleting and reinstalling did not fix password app issues on iPhone running 18.2.
Yup since the last update of iPadOS 18.2, it’s happening the same with me too.
I had the same issue. Nothing helped. restarting the device, closing the app. it always just showed a blank window.
Here’s what worked: Open the Passwords app. Long press the app icon. Select the option to view all windows. Then, add a new window for the Passwords app. The new window displayed the app correctly. After that, simply close the original blank window.
Tested on an iPad Pro with the M2 chip.”
Hold the passwords app button then press show all windows after that press on the + inside of an oval shape on the top left side of the screen then that should fix it
I have a Generation 8 iPad and the password app won't work and I have tried all of the above recommendations. Any other ideas?
