Same here. I looked in the app itself as well as settings, no luck yet
Another in here too.
I could be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure that during the keynote, it was mentioned that 3rd party apps had to add support.
+1
Yes, it was in the Keynote. Not found in Beta 1!
Same here. no option to add 3rd party. But in the keynote and different hands-on videos 3rd party vendors have been added...
The Keynote showed Box and Drop Box.
Nit sure how we are supposed to help test if we cant connect those services.
Yep... I saw in the hands-on videos that there was alrady added 3rd party cloud services... idk this is weird
+1 I had vivewed all places of Files and Settings, no place could add the 3rd party account.
This is indeed not working currently... Looks like the 3rd party apps will have to add the extension to be accessible in the Files app. One other thing to note... you can no longer open a file from a 3rd party app while in Apple Apps (such as Keynote) as those apps rely on the new Files app. You would have to open the 3rd party file app, Box for example and then Copy to Keynote to edit or read.
Same thing with Powerpoint... you cannot open other locations unless the App has direct link to the 3rd party file service.
Can any of you browse local file, like photos or word docs saved on the ipad? I only see one folder "Documents" in iCloud.
It made to the second beta today!
Can you tell me how to get there? i downloaded the new update but i'm still not able to add dropbox?
Just to add to this, you CAN currently use the Box app with the Files app in iOS 11 beta. However I believe the rest of the cloud providers are going to wait for the release, unfortunately.
