Receiving message "Unable to find a team with the given Team ID to which you belong" when trying to access Certificates Identifiers & Profiles page

When attempting to access the (Certificates Identifiers & Profiles) page, I receive the message "Unable to find a team with the given Team ID to which you belong". Even while set as a developer or as an admin I still receive the same message above.

The target team is an

OK. That explains the behaviour you’re seeing.

Please let me know how this can be resolved for an Individual account

I think the only good way to resolve this is to update the team to an Organization team. See the instructions in Developer Account Help > Account > Updating your account information > Updating an individual membership to an organization membership.

Thanks for your post.

Encountering the message "Unable to find a team with the given Team ID to which you belong" when trying to access the Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles section in your Apple Developer account can be concerning. This issue indicates a potential misconfiguration or access problem. Ensure you are signed in with the correct Apple ID that you believe has access to the developer program team. Double-check this ID across all relevant devices and browser sessions. Log in to developer.apple.com and navigate to your account dashboard. Verify that your Apple ID is indeed associated with an active developer program membership. Check if the membership has expired or encountered any billing issues, which might affect access. Within your Apple Developer account, go to "Account" > "Membership" and confirm your roles (e.g., Developer, Admin) within the specific team. If you were invited to a team, ensure you've accepted the invitation by checking your email for an invitation link and following the prompts. Even as an Admin or Developer, if roles are misconfigured within the team settings, it might limit access. An Account Holder or someone with appropriate privileges should verify team roles and permissions under "People" in your developer account settings.

By systematically going through these steps, you should be able to identify the root cause of the access problem.

@DTS Engineer I’ve already verified all of the points mentioned:

  1. I am signed in with the correct Apple ID
  2. The Apple Developer Program membership is active
  3. There are no billing issues
  4. The invitation was accepted, and the account holder has confirmed my current role as admin
  5. I experience this issue regardless of browser.

The problem persists even when set as developer or admin, the Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles page still returns “Unable to find a team with the given Team ID to which you belong.”

Please advise whether this requires Apple Support intervention to resynchronize or repair the Team ID.

Based on my observation, this appears to be a known issue.

Thank you for your assistance.

@Waad Thanks for checking all that. Something very weird is happening to your account. I would recommend to schedule something with the Developer Account Support I would recommend you to contact the developer account support at https://developer.apple.com/contact to make sure they are aware of the issue.

Thanks

What Albert said but, before you do that, there’s one thing I’d like you to check: Make sure that the target team is an Organization team [1].

The most common cause for problems like this is that the target team is an Individual team. This works for App Store Connect but not for the Apple Developer Program. See the note at the top of the Permissions in App Store Connect section of Developer > Program Roles.

[1] Or In-House (Enterprise) team.

@DTS Engineer @DTS Engineer

Thank you for the clarification. The target team is an Individual Apple Developer account, not an Organization account.

My Apple ID is added to the team with the Admin role, which works correctly in App Store Connect. However, as noted in the documentation you linked: ‘Note: If you’re enrolled as an individual and add users in App Store Connect, users receive access only to your content in App Store Connect and are not considered part of your team in the Apple Developer Program.’

Please let me know how this can be resolved for an Individual account, or if access to Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles is restricted to the account holder only.

I need access to the certificates page to complete app signing, or guidance on the correct process to proceed in this situation.

The target team is an

OK. That explains the behaviour you’re seeing.
