Scheduled App Review Appointment

I have a scheduled app review appointment call at 3am(!) tomorrow/tonight to get clarification on why we keep getting rejected and how to remedy that. What should I expect? I am not the developer of my own app. Would it behoove me for my developer to be on the call too in order to properly answer technical questions?

It depends the reasons for which you were rejected. But it would be wise to have the developer online, it is a rare opportunity for you to solve the issues and pass the review, don't miss it.

Yes—if the developer can join, invite them. You can explain the product and business context, while they can answer precise questions about the submitted build, configuration, and changes made after each rejection.

Before the call, prepare a one-page timeline of the rejection messages and changes, then agree on the 2–3 specific questions you need answered. Keep the exact rejected build and App Store Connect messages available. Ask which observed behavior or guideline concern remains, and what evidence would help clarify it.

Treat the appointment as a chance to understand the issue, not as a pre-approval or a way to expedite the review. Afterward, write down what was clarified and make any follow-up in the existing App Review conversation.
