Repeated App Review Delays – No Response Despite Multiple Support Requests

Hello everyone,

I am an independent developer of Bolzplatz – Soccer GM (App ID: 6747684577), and I am hoping someone from Apple's App Review team might be able to help me.

Unfortunately, I have been experiencing recurring and unusually long App Review delays over the past several weeks.

During a previous submission, I had to wait more than three weeks for a review, despite receiving confirmation that my expedited review request had been approved. Multiple attempts to contact Developer Support did not resolve the situation.

Now I am facing similar difficulties again.

Since October 16, 2026, I have been trying to get another update reviewed. Concerned about another prolonged delay, I submitted two replacement builds, hoping to avoid a possible issue with the review process.

I understand that replacing a build may reset the review queue. However, my previous experience has left me genuinely concerned that something might not be working correctly.

What makes the situation especially frustrating is the lack of communication.

I have contacted Apple Developer Support several times, including messages on October 19 and 20, and submitted another support request on October 22. Unfortunately, I have not received a substantive response.

I also submitted formal complaints on September 29 and October 21 regarding these recurring issues.

As an independent developer, I continuously invest considerable time and resources into improving my game, fixing bugs, and providing new features for my players.

I fully respect Apple's review process and understand the importance of thorough app reviews. However, repeated delays without meaningful communication make it extremely difficult to plan updates and support my players.

My main concern is whether there might be an underlying technical or administrative issue affecting my application's review process.

Could someone from the Apple App Review team please help investigate this situation or advise me on how to get it properly escalated?

I would sincerely appreciate any assistance or guidance.

Thank you very much for your time!

Kind regards,
Felix Dämmrich

10000% I've been waiting 6 weeks for a review. This article was SUPPOSED to be me but they've prevented me from having a Duo ready app in the store. I've just been stuck screaming into the void.
https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2026/10/developers-bring-incredible-new-app-experiences-to-iphone-duo/

We've been stuck since Oct 12. Escalation is ineffective and after a 2hr wait on the phone (twice), they told us it's a 'waiting game' now. No visibiility into what's going on and Apple shuts down their phone call back support when they want.

With multiple replacement builds submitted since Oct 16, I'd first check App Store Connect's App Review page and identify exactly which submission/version/build is currently active. Include that ID and the older submission IDs in one follow-up to the existing support case, and ask whether any review information or account requirement is missing for the active one. That gives Support a clear timeline to investigate; the public forum can't see the queue or tell whether there is an account-side issue.

I'd avoid sending another replacement solely to try to advance review. Submit a new build only if you have a specific fix to make, and include complete review notes, test credentials if needed, and steps to reach the affected features. Apple's status guide: https://developer.apple.com/help/app-review/after-submitting-for-review/review-status/ and review information guide: https://developer.apple.com/app-store/review/

Thank you for your response.

Unfortunately, this does not address the actual problem.

I have already contacted Apple Developer Support multiple times, submitted formal complaints, and even requested an expedited review. Despite all of this, my app remains stuck in “Waiting for Review”, without any meaningful explanation or resolution.

I am fully aware of which build is currently submitted. The problem is not identifying the correct submission or providing review information. The problem is that Apple is simply not reviewing my app, even after an expedited review request.

I submitted a newer build because the previous submission had been sitting in the queue without progress, and my app has received significant improvements in the meantime.

As an independent developer, this situation is extremely frustrating. I cannot release important updates, and repeated support requests have not resulted in any concrete assistance.

What I really need is a way to reach someone at Apple who can actually investigate why the review is not progressing, rather than receiving more general instructions.

Thank you.
