App Builds & Custom Product Pages Stuck in "Waiting for Review" for 5–7 Days

Hello Apple App Review Team,

We're experiencing consistently long review times for our app, myMentalPal, and would appreciate some assistance.

Both new app builds and Custom Product Page (CPP) submissions regularly remain in "Waiting for Review" for approximately 5–7 days before the review process even begins.

This has become a recurring issue across multiple submissions, rather than an isolated delay.

The impact on our business is significant:

Our development, design, and marketing teams coordinate their work around App Store releases and approvals. When submissions remain in the queue for nearly a week:

  • Our development and QA teams experience unnecessary downtime and disruptions to planned release schedules.
  • Marketing campaigns are delayed because new Custom Product Pages cannot go live.
  • We incur substantial operational costs from team resources sitting idle or having to reschedule work.
  • Time-sensitive improvements and important fixes are delayed for our existing users.

For comparison, another app we manage typically receives reviews within 24 hours, which makes the consistent delays for myMentalPal particularly concerning.

We fully understand the importance of Apple's review process and are committed to meeting all App Store guidelines. However, we'd appreciate clarification on whether these recurring delays are related to something specific to our app or a broader review queue issue.

Could someone from Apple's App Review team investigate why both our app builds and CPP submissions consistently take 5–7 days to enter review?

We're happy to provide submission IDs and any additional information privately to assist with the investigation.

Thank you for your time and support.
