After installed ios 11.1 beta 1, battery drains 4% per hour, even if the iphone is not touched. My iphone is an iPhone 7 Plus.
I had already optimized the brightness, background process and as well location services.
For the moment I have activated battery low power.
I hope that we see very soon a 2nd beta!!!

Having exactly same problem. There’s 50% left at 2am but when I wake up at 830am my phone left 5%
My problem was fixed by turning off assistive touch. Never would have guessed.
Back to testing and waiting on the next beta!
Turn off assistive touch of you have it on. It will solve your problem.
I didn;t roll back to 11.1. The problem was assistive touch. I turn it off and the problem resolved.
Mine 7 Plus happen same drain 50% battery within 1 hr even could not touch the phone, like this we can better to avoid as a beta tester and use stable iOS

I had a similar issue. After checking General -> Battery, I found that the "Backup" was eating up 70%+ of the battery. I had to go into the iCloud -> Manage Storage and delete teh current backup. Then I had to log out and log back in as the Backup swtich was greyed out. After that, everything has been running great with a "normal" about of battery drop throughout the day (it's usually around 40% when I go to bed).
Try to turn off assistive touch if it is on. You will see immediately the difference!
I have done this. Got improvement and observing further progress.
Turn Assistive touch control off for rescuing the battery.
My Iphone 7 plus battery is being drained much faster than before. I literally became a wall hugger 😉. I gave a complaint to Apple and waiting for it. Even I went to one of the apple store to check if it is a hardware problem. None of them worked.
Finally one day accidentally I turned off my Assistive touch control (configured it to triple click) and then onwards my phone is back. I would say it is much better than IOS 11 or 11.0.1.
I verified this by turning Assistive touch control on and off again.
I never expected this is the reason for the drastic battery drain problem which I have been facing from the past one week. I have updated my feedback with this new finding. Hope apple fixes this problem in their next beta.

I m still facing the same battery issue even after switching off the assistive touch, it is draining too fast. Like litterly fast. Within minutes
I just start turning off my assistive touch this very moment and still waiting for the development of my battery. These past few days have been so terrible since I downloaded iOs 11.1. Hope this one works now.
