I just purchased today an iPhone X and sold my 7plus which was running the 11.2 beta.
I updated through iTunes the iPhone X to 11.1. However now when i try to restore it iTunes displays this message "Itunes could not restore the iPhone "iPhone" because the backup was corrupt or not compatible with the iPhone that is being restored".
How can I manage to restore it as my iPhone backup contains important things?

This is most dissapointing, as well as not being able to restore, I have a watch 3 with LTE running 4.2 - The watch does not play nice with the phone on an earlier version on the OS. Apple fix required asap
Apple DROPPED it big time on this one! New iPhone X and only option is to set it up as new - Come on Guys!

So my iPhone X restored and older backup from a few days ago, but I need to restore last nights backup (which was running 11.2 on my old plus) how do I get to be able to load my 11.2 backup from my old phone once I’ve downloaded 11.2 on my new X? Thanks for the help in advance!

Hi, I am wondering the same thing. Has anyone provided you an answer? I just want to know how to backup from my previous latest backup once Beta is downloaded completely?
You can enroll to the beta program and download 11.2.5, once thats downloaded onto the iphone X you can easily restore your phone from your 7 or 8 back up.
