Hi, Our app has a section where, we show to users how to activate "Silence Unknown Callers", because is a crucial feature for our app. But, we saw that 30% of users drop the process here, because we can't open directly that setting option in phone app. We are using this url scheme to open phone settings in iOS 18: if let url = URL(string: "App-prefs:com.apple.mobilephone") { UIApplication.shared.open(url) } But, we don't see other way to open directly the path "silence", like in iOS 17, with this url scheme: prefs:root=Phone&path=SILENCE_CALLS So, do you know if is possible open that option directly? iOS 18.3.1, iPhone 16 Pro. I pick photos using connected physical keyboard from the user's photo library using: .photosPicker(isPresented: $viewModel.isImagePickerPresented, selection: $viewModel.selectedImageItem, matching: .images) When picker appears, accessibility focus is moved to "dynamic Island" instead of cancel button. There is no possibility to navigate by keyboard in photos picker view without tapping on this view and move focus to this view manually . I noticed the same behavior in Notes app.

I'm trying to validate my app's handling of voiceover accessibility when using VoiceOver hotspots. What I'm doing: Set a hotspot Validate hotspot references correct control within the hotspot chooser set another hotspot Validate hotspot references both correct controls within the hotspot chooser Try to use one of the hotspots Result: The hotspot has changed to some other control in the app (usually one of the window buttoms (close, minimze, full screen) but at other times are one of the menus or a completely different control in the window. My question is how I can debug what might be going on in the app when the hotspots are resolved and invoked. I'm assuming I have some accessibility property set improperly for these controls that are causing incorrect resolution of the hotspots.

Currently i am using an iphone 15 pro which is just 7 months old but it was good till this month it was at 97% even after using more than 6 months, but in recent fews days it is regularly dropping by 1% every day and now it is at 89% only with 10 to 12 days it dropped by 8% . Hi I'm planning to make macos App and distribute to MacOS App Store. The question is should i make force update when update is needed. The reason why I want to make this feature is I don't want to make user use previous version of app. My plan is like this. when app needed update, make user reach special page that describe why update is needed and set a button that can download new version of app. the download will be automatically doing at background don't need to visit app store. I am developing a vision os app for controlling an underwater ROV. I have ornaments with telemetry and buttons around a central video view feed. I have custom buttons mappings, such as "A" for locking the depth of the drone. However, when I look at buttons or certain ornaments, my custom gamepad logic is kept from running. This means that when a SwiftUI Button gains focus on visionOS, pressing the controller’s A button triggers the system’s default “click” on that Button rather than my custom buttonA handler. Essentially, focus interception by the system is stealing my A-press events and preventing my custom gamepad logic from running. Is there a way to disable the built in gamepad interaction and only allow my custom gamepad mappings?

I updated with 18.3 beta, but lost video and audio option with that update, I tried to restore with itune in windows 11, got struck between. Forcefully turned off ipad, after two tries got off.... When iOS screen reader reads the month "July" in its shorter version "Jul" its not reading it correctly as month, where as all other months name it reading it correctly in shorter version, so as a result all dates comes under that month when we display in front end and use a screen reader to read it then it will read out as number not date. I have tried the longer version with the screen reader and then its reads correctly July as well.

Hello community, We're designing an app that can optionally be controlled by a stylus with a mesh tip. In this case, the mesh tip we're using is 5 mm in diameter. It seems that mesh tip contact detection is unstable in this size, although it works better with a larger diameter. Is it possible to access a setting in iOS that lets you define the minimum contact area needed to detect a contact on the screen? This would enable us to use this 5 mm stylus. Best regards, Edwin

How to access application’s Trust Store to include the new server certificate

The only way I found to make the accessibility focus work correctly in the detent in a fullscreen cover is to apply the focus manually. The issue is in the ContentView the grabber works while in the fullscreen it does not. Is there something I am missing or is this a bug. I got a UIControl, and I want to make it behavior like a custom UIAccessibilityElement. I am currently developing an alarm app, and I’ve noticed that apps like Super Alarm and Alarmy are able to send local push notifications every 3 seconds after a specified time, even when the app is completely closed and in Airplane Mode. The notifications continue until the user opens the app. I’m trying to implement this functionality, but I haven’t been able to figure out how. Could anyone provide guidance on how to achieve this?
