unable to find module dependency : 'minizip'
I downloaded Xcode Beta 26 and built the POS code repository project. However, an error appeared: unable to find the module dependency 'minizip'. No changes have been made to the repository since upgrading to iOS 18.0. Is this a new issue with Xcode 26, and what are the resolution steps?

Recovering Lost Password
The MacStudio has only one account on it, and that is of course an admin account. The password to this account is lost. The MacStudio has an association with my AppleID I log into developer.apple.com with. To recover, this procedure was followed: The recovery mode was entered by holding down the power key for 15 seconds. In the options that appeared the "Forgot all passwords" option was clicked on. I entered the same credentials I log into developer.apple.com with. The credentials were accepted. The shell was launched, and the in the shell the command "resetpasswords" entered. The message: "If you don't know the password for any user on your Mac, you can deactivate your Mac and set new passwords for all users. An internet connection will be required to reactivate your Mac". Beneath this message there was in blue text: "Deactivate Mac". I did not proceed after this because I was not sure what deactivation would mean for the files on the computer. On it there is code written in Swift that needs to be preserved. If the deactivation is done will the files be preserved, and be accessible? Or does a deactivation remove all files?

Improvement request: iPhone should save system state before shutting down at 1% battery.
2. Reduz o risco de perda de dados importantes. 3. Melhora a segurança e experiência do usuário. 4.

CoreAudio: Audio Output Device Stopped Error since macOS 15
Hello! I used the Apple CA Playthrough example code that pipes audio between devices. It uses AudioUnit callbacks to pipe the input to an output device, and I created a system equalizer with it - however users reported it stopped working in macOS 15. I am getting the error HALPlugIn.cpp:552 HALPlugIn::DeviceGetCurrentTime: got an error from the plug-in routine, Error: 1937010544 (stop) for the output device and no sound coming out of the speakers. The error only occurs when using a virtual device as an input, not using the microphone. First I thought the problem was in the loopback driver, but it also does not work with other loopback drivers like Blackhole. STEPS TO REPRODUCE Install a virtual device, for example "brew install blackhole-2ch" and run the CAPlayThrough example code (you need to add Mic Permission in the info.plist). Then set your system audio output to the virtual device, select the device as input in CAPlayThrough and hit start. You should see the error in console. My question: What did change in macOS 15 that could cause this? Is it something with the new permission handling maybe?

App Removed & Account Pending Termination
My account has been active and in good standing for the past 2 years, and during this time I have never received any warnings or issues. Recently, after Apple reviewed my account, I received a notification about possible termination. After carefully reviewing the situation myself, I realized what may have caused this: I originally registered my Apple Developer account as an Individual Developer Account, However, the bank account used for App Store payments belongs to my registered company, At the time, I was not aware that the legal entity of the bank account must match the Apple Developer account registration. This was not done with any intention to misrepresent or misuse the platform. It was simply a misunderstanding of the account requirements. We have never deceived our users or the Apple Review Team in any way. For us as developers, providing an excellent user experience has always been our top priority, and we have always aimed to follow Apple’s review and compliance standards closely. We sincerely hope that, given our situation, the Apple Review Team could grant us an opportunity to correct these issues.

Any Sample Financial Reports?
Hey, I'm pre-launch, and can't find any sample financial reports. Really need to see exactly what apple sends out to finish my backend. Anyone have a sample report, or willing to share one of their reports privately. (Promise to keep it private and destroy after use). I'm interested in exact format, not your sales. Particularly interested in reports from people using in app sales and discount offer codes. But that's a bonus. Thank you.

Apple Developer Program Account Activation - No Response
I'm experiencing an issue with my Apple Developer Program enrollment process: Submitted initial enrollment application: Sat Jan 11 21:13 (7 days ago) Current status: Stuck at "Purchase your membership" stage (pending) Waited: 6+ days without any response or ability to proceed to payment The system shows "Your purchase may take up to 48 hours to process" message No payment has been processed yet as I cannot proceed to that step I have not received any emails explaining the delay or requesting additional information. I've checked both my primary and spam folders. Is this delay normal at the pre-payment stage? What would be the recommended next steps to resolve this situation? Any guidance would be appreciated.

Apple Developer Program Subscription Issue
Hello everyone, I’m reaching out for assistance regarding an issue with my Apple Developer Program subscription. I made the $99 USD payment for my subscription on January 10, 2025, but my account is still not active, and I am unable to publish my app. According to the process, activation should take up to 48 hours, but it has now been much longer without any updates. Additionally, when I log into the Apple Developer website, I still see the "PURCHASE" button as if the payment was not processed. Has anyone encountered a similar issue? If so, how was it resolved? Any guidance on what steps I should take next would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

Unable to simultaneously satisfy constraints using versions 26.1
I am trying to create a new app using IOS-26.1, macOS Tahoe 26.1 and Xcode 26.1 with Swift6. Is this a bug that is going to be addressed. This is in the Debug Console...Unable to simultaneously satisfy constraints. Probably at least one of the constraints in the following list is one you don't want. Try this: (1) look at each constraint and try to figure out which you don't expect; (2) find the code that added the unwanted constraint or constraints and fix it. (Note: If you're seeing NSAutoresizingMaskLayoutConstraints that you don't understand, refer to the documentation for the UIView property translatesAutoresizingMaskIntoConstraints) ( "<NSAutoresizingMaskLayoutConstraint:0x10bb18870 h=--& v=--& _TtCC5UIKit19NavigationButtonBar15ItemWrapperView:0x115da48c0.width == 0 (active)>", "<NSLayoutConstraint:0x115ac2ee0 _TtCC5UIKit19NavigationButtonBar15ItemWrapperView:0x115da48c0.leading == _UIButtonBarButton:0x115d40c80.leading (active)>", "<NSLayoutConstraint:0x115ac30c0 H:[_UIButtonBarButton:0x115d40c80]-(0)-| (active, names: '|':_TtCC5UIKit19NavigationButtonBar15ItemWrapperView:0x115da48c0 )>", "<NSLayoutConstraint:0x115ac2df0 'TB_Leading_Leading' H:|-(12)-[_UIModernBarButton:0x115d20a80] (active, names: '|':_UIButtonBarButton:0x115d40c80 )>", "<NSLayoutConstraint:0x115ac2fd0 'TB_Trailing_Trailing' H:[_UIModernBarButton:0x115d20a80]-(12)-| (active, names: '|':_UIButtonBarButton:0x115d40c80 )>" ) Will attempt to recover by breaking constraint <NSLayoutConstraint:0x115ac2fd0 'TB_Trailing_Trailing' H:[_UIModernBarButton:0x115d20a80]-(12)-| (active, names: '|':_UIButtonBarButton:0x115d40c80 )> Make a symbolic breakpoint at UIViewAlertForUnsatisfiableConstraints to catch this in the debugger. The methods in the UIConstraintBasedLayoutDebugging category on UIView listed in <UIKitCore/UIView.h> may also be helpful.

tvOS 26 issue: Please bring back passcode-locked apps — disappearing apps and shared restrictions make Apple TV frustrating for families
I recently updated to tvOS 26 on my Apple TV 4K (1st generation) and was disappointed to find that apps I restrict no longer appear at all. In earlier versions, restricted apps would still be visible and simply prompt for a passcode — this was much more convenient for adults in the household. Now, if I restrict apps for my children, they disappear completely. To use them again, I have to go deep into settings, turn restrictions off, and even recreate the passcode each time, which is frustrating and impractical for daily use. I also tried adding a Kids user account, but most restrictions still apply system-wide. Only the Apple TV app behaves differently between users. This makes switching between parent and child accounts nearly pointless for managing access. Please consider one or both of the following: 1. Bring back the passcode-on-launch behavior for restricted apps (instead of hiding them). 2. Give each user their own isolated settings environment, like how profiles work on iOS/iPadOS or even a fresh Apple TV—this way, restrictions, home screen, and app access could be personalized. Families are a huge part of the Apple TV audience, and these recent changes have made it much harder to use the device in a shared household. Thank you!

My iPhone charged to 100%
Basically, I always charge my phone at night to my limit 85%, but when I installed the iOS 18.3 beta 3, my iPhone charged to 100% at night when I was having always limit to 85%, my phone was overheated too. Did that only happened to me? Because I even checked and it’s on 85% limit.

Does UIDevice.current.identifierForVendor change after iCloud backup and restore on another iOS device?
I'm trying to understand how UIDevice.current.identifierForVendor behaves when an iOS app is restored via iCloud onto a different physical device. Context I'm building an app that needs to detect whether it’s running on a newly restored device (for example, after the user transfers their iPhone via iCloud setup). To do this, I save the value of UIDevice.current.identifierForVendor?.uuidString in persistent storage (e.g., UserDefaults). The question If I install my app on Device A, store the identifierForVendor value, back up the device to iCloud, and then restore that backup onto Device B, will the restored app see the same identifierForVendor value, or a new one? More specifically: Does iCloud backup/restore preserve the underlying “vendor” ID across devices? Is the identifierForVendor tied only to the bundle identifier and vendor prefix, or also to the physical device hardware? If the user deletes all apps from the same vendor, then restores them from iCloud, is the ID reset? What I’ve found so far Apple’s docs say: “The value of this property is the same for apps that come from the same vendor running on the same device. If the user deletes all of that vendor’s apps from the device and then reinstalls one or more of them, the value may change.” However, it doesn’t explicitly mention what happens after iCloud restore onto a new device. Goal I want to know if it’s safe to use identifierForVendor to detect a new device context (e.g., trigger a refresh of a Firebase token when the user’s device changes). Environment iOS 17+ (latest) Swift / Capacitor app bridge Testing between iPhone 14 Pro → iPhone 15 Pro (iCloud restore)

Why are system reserved files consuming half of my storage?
I am constantly running out of storage on my iPhone 16 Pro. I keep having to move my photos and videos to my laptop and delete them from my phone, and I’m constantly needing to offload apps and manually clear caches in some apps to free up storage. I finally got sick of having this cycle every two weeks so looked into it more closely. I’m finding that iOS consumes 32 GB, and then another system reserve category is consuming an additional 23 GB. Meaning the system reserved files are consuming half of the storage on this phone and effectively making it a 64 GB model. I understand the system will need to consume some capacity for itself and that iOS is getting larger, but nearly 50% of the capacity of the phone is insane. Looking closer into the categories, I’m seeing that iOS has taken it upon itself to also permanently provision 10% of the storage capacity for reserve update space. Already another instance of “why am I having to lose so much of my functional capacity to an occasional process?” but I can understand the utility of this — if I didn’t still have to offload basically all my apps every single time I run a software update, because I’m still some not-insignificant amount short. I seem to recall it being between 6-20 GB across the different updates I’ve had to do since iOS 26 rolled around. I’d also like to be clear that preprovisioning the storage space for updates isn’t a bad idea, just give us an off switch if we’d rather be able to take a few hundred more photos, have another few apps, etc. than have the space sit mostly unused. The biggest culprit is this “system data” category which is somehow consuming as much space as the entire operating system and its extensions. There’s no clear way to request iOS to clear this down if some of it is temporary data, which we should have a button for even if Apple thinks it should “just work.” Windows usually trims down on its temp files, but on the occasion you go look and see 67 GB of temporary files, being able to manually run the disk cleanup tool is very helpful. I’m hesitant to try any third party app because I shouldn’t need to, and knowing Apple, it wouldn’t have access to anything it would actually have to touch anyway. Which is neither here nor there, but give us a button to clear cache or maybe run the cleanup when the phone reboots? I am running the developer beta right now so maybe that’s part of it. However I’m not sure… I had switched to mainline release for a while when it released, and it didn’t seem any different with storage consumption and battery drain. I jumped back to beta to see some of the new features and am waiting for another mainline release to switch back to as the recent betas have been much more unstable/buggy than the entire prerelease beta period. Just wondering if anyone has any kind of input on this storage issue in particular as it’s not really been talked about as much as the battery drain issue from what I can see.

APPLE STOCKS
Hi I was thinking, wouldn’t it be awesome if Apple had a stock app? I know, it might sound crazy, but honestly, it would be a fantastic addition to their finance section! Imagine having a wallet, Apple credit card, and a stock app all in one place. In my opinion, that could totally revolutionize everything!
