iOS26 is supported by a wider range of devices than are able to run AI, e.g iPhone 12 runs iOS26, but does not support AI. How do we determine in code if AI is supported on a device ? How do we determine what features use AI under the hood ? Thanks, Steve.

Greetings, Ive been exerimenting with the new Apple intelligence chat. I want to be able to use my custom LLM and I made that work (I can chat back and forward from the left panel with my server) but I cannot find out how to change the editor contents like chatgpt does. chatgpt is able to change the current editor and, seems like, all files in the pbx. I tried to catch the call with charles with no success. In the OpenIA platform docs it doesnt mention anything that could change the code shown. does anyone know how to achieve this? Is the apple intelliece documentation lacking this features and will it be completed soon? will this features even be open for developers?

Should we use a special icon or text to let the user know that Apple Intelligence is generating the text? I’m working on generating images using Image Playground. The code works fine for other styles but fails when using an external provider. I don’t see any other requirements mentioned in the documentation. Has anyone else encountered a similar issue? I am using the iPhone 17 Pro simulator that was included with Xcode 26.0.1. My Mac is running macOS 26. When I started the simulator for the first time I got the "Ready for Apple Intelligence" notification but when I access Image Playground in my app it says it is not available on this iPhone. Any solution to get it working on the simulator?

why it’s taking too long to download appl intelligence on iPhone 15 pro max . how long it will take to download. I use 5G now it counting 4 weeks still downloading.

It would be good if we could tallk to Siri with emojis as well. I’m pretty sure emojis are her’s native language.

At one point, Mac Mail's apple added a summarize functionality that worked. Now when I click on Summarize, I get: "Summaries Unavailable Mail summarization is unavailable at this time. Try again later." I've rebooted, stopped/restarted Apple AI, waited a day to see if it was synching up things, etc. I'm running the latest version of Apple OS (Version 15.1 (24B82)). any ideas?

Hey everyone, I recently installed the iOS 18.2 developer beta and connected my ChatGPT Premium account to use it within the Visual Intelligence feature. After taking a photo, I tried pressing the "Ask" button, but it’s completely unresponsive. I've tried troubleshooting by doing a hard reset and a regular restart, but no luck so far. I'm returning the following result in one of my AppIntents: return .result(value: "Done!", dialog: IntentDialog("Speed limit \(speedLimit)")) With iOS 18.0.1 it was nicely confirming the user the result of their command by saying e.g. "Speed limit 60" and showing it on top of the screen. With iOS 18.1, it only shows/says "That's done" or "Done" at the bottom of the screen. Am I missing something that changed in the AppIntents API since iOS 18.1?
