Why does Apple sell Iphones 16 with AI that won’t work in europe? You do not sell a car without a engine. Was it not better to wait to bring it to europe?

I'm curious about what model Apple Intelligence will use when it is launched in China.

I've already used the new Siri for a few weeks but now it disappeared. The Siri app still exists but cannot use. Currently the Siri is the original Apple Intelligence. I went to Settings, Screen Time, Content & Privacy Restrictions, Siri, and the Siri AI (Beta) is grey cannot choose. Anyone knows how to fix it?

I'm developing an iOS app that uses imagePlaygroundSheet to generate images based on AI-generated prompts (not user-typed text). I would like to confirm whether the following usage is permitted under the Apple Developer Program License Agreement: Generate an image using imagePlaygroundSheet within my app Pass the resulting image (obtained via the completion handler URL) as an input to a third-party video generation API (e.g., to create an image-to-video animation) Offer this video generation as a paid feature (consumable in-app purchase) within my app I've reviewed Section 3.2(8) of the ADPLA, which prohibits using "output generated from an Apple model to train, fine-tune, or improve another artificial intelligence model." My understanding is that this clause is specifically about training/improving AI models, not about using the output image as a content input for a separate processing step (e.g., animation). Could someone confirm: Whether passing imagePlaygroundSheet output to a third-party API for further processing (not training) is permitted Whether monetizing a feature that uses this combined output is permitted Thank you in advance for any guidance.

Hi! From my past experience, I know that foundation models from last year have really small context window and this year with the new foundation models. I suspect the context window gets much larger, but if the new Siri AI is coming only two iPhone 17. Does that mean my iPhone 16 will not get that new foundation model models, bigger context.

If some Siri AI features work on cloud why not for older device? Apple Devs mentioned that the Siri AI is available for iPhone 15 and later devices and we can use iCloud+ Subscription to use it more on Apple’s Private Cloud Compute (PCC). So if it can run some functions on Private Cloud why not for people with older device? Or will Apple make it compatible with older devices on upcoming beta updates? Also, I noticed that other Phone companies have these features in phones that are way less powerful than iPhone 11 (Which is a oldest device support iOS 27) I tested some ai models from 3rd party apps that are less than 300MB and it worked very well than the old siri so can We add some Siri features to older iPhone? So we can avoid people from switching to other phones. Because I don’t want my friends leaving iPhone.

Trying to get on the waitlist for the above and the computer is saying: “Apple Intelligence is not available when Mac is set to English (Singapore)”. When just a few more bullet points below my Language selection shows “English (United States)”. That’s the only thing I can see, of course you guys are the experts. When building and running an app on iOS 18.1 Beta 3 a fresh sample app with an @AssistantIntent will immediately crash. Using a sample Assistant Intent from the developer documentation site will cause this. Removing the @AssistantIntent macro will allow the app to run. My iPhone 15 Pro is from Hong Kong (China). I am outside of China and Asia in general. I have never been to China myself and the iPhone was activated in another country. And it is not the EU. My iPhone's language, Siri and region settings are changed to US English. Updated to iOS 18.1 RC. But Apple Intelligence doesn't show up in the Siri settings.

I request the access to playground when released ios 18.2 beta 1 and now in beta 2 of ios 18.2 is stiill waiting, how long take this??

I have been waitlisted on playground for a week and a half almost two weeks and I still don’t have access to playground. Whenever I open the app and click done telling me I am on the waitlist it shows me the app and force closes. Anyone know why I haven’t gotten access when people have who have been on the waitlist shorter than me.

I have been to image creation for 2 hours. I can do genmoji, playground well for 10 minutes. After that, when I run the playground and start to generate Animation style of photo, it will stuck in here and no result output. Is there anyone know what's happened...

Hello, I am trying to show an imagePlaygroundSheet but when I open it in the 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max iOS 18.2 simulator, I see "Image Playground is not available. Image Playground is not available on this iPhone". The environment variable supportsImagePlayground always returns false. I changed the simulator language and region to US but still see the error. Using an iPhone 15 Pro. I'm in Australia on iOS 18.2 Beta 1 but there's no mention of Apple Intelligence anywhere in the phone. Settings looks identical without the menu for AI, there's no playground image generation. It's as if my phone doesn't know it exists

Before I updated to 18.2, I was missing Apple Intelligence features such as chatgpt integration. Now that I updated to 18.2. I’m still missing Apple Intelligence and ChatGPT integration altogether and now my Siri turned into the old Siri. What can I do?

I am using the iPhone 17 Pro simulator that was included with Xcode 26.0.1. My Mac is running macOS 26. When I started the simulator for the first time I got the "Ready for Apple Intelligence" notification but when I access Image Playground in my app it says it is not available on this iPhone. Any solution to get it working on the simulator?

Hi Apple team, When using AppShortcutsProvider, I hit the hard limit: Each app may have at most 10 App Shortcuts. This feels limiting for apps that offer multiple workflows and would benefit from deeper Siri integration. Could this cap be raised — ideally to 30 — to support broader use of AppIntents, enhance Siri automation, and unlock more system-level capabilities? AppShortcuts are a fantastic tool. Increasing the limit would make them even more powerful. Thanks!
