Get your subscriptions ready for iOS 27

Discover how you can expand the reach of your subscriptions with new features in iOS 27. You can start preparing today by making sure your apps use StoreKit 2 to handle your Apple In-App Purchases.

Request access to Bundles and Suites

Offer multiple subscriptions as a single Apple In-App Purchase in your apps with new Bundles and Suites capabilities. With Bundles, people can access multiple subscriptions in one purchase — across a single app, multiple apps from the same developer, or even spanning multiple developers’ apps. With Suites, people get access to a single subscription that seamlessly works across a set of apps from a single developer.

The App Store provides the purchase experience, which displays all apps included in your Bundle or Suite, so it’s easy for people to download and access their subscription content right away.

To get started, review our Bundles and Suites page, which includes eligible configurations, technical requirements, and how to submit a request form. Bundles and Suites will be available later this year in iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, tvOS 27, or later.

Multiseat purchasing enabled in App Store Connect

Multiseat purchases make it easy for organizations and groups to buy your subscriptions in bulk through Volume Purchasing and Group Purchases. This presents you with an opportunity to expand your subscription beyond single users, as small businesses and specific work groups or departments can access your subscription without having to go through additional administrative workflows.

With Volume Purchasing, organizations that use Apple Business and Apple School Manager can buy your subscriptions through a single Apple In-App Purchase and assign seats using a device management provider.

With Group Purchases, a subscriber can buy multiple seats in a single Apple In-App Purchase and invite others to join. Apple handles any seat assignment and the invitation flow, to let groups — like small businesses, individual departments, or teams — easily access your subscriptions.

This opens your subscription to users who don't fit the traditional single-subscriber model: a work team splitting the cost of a productivity app, a small business outfitting a handful of employees, a department within a larger company, or a group of collaborators sharing access to a creative tool. Any of these groups can become paying subscribers today, without going through IT or procurement.

Starting today, multiseat purchases are enabled by default for subscriptions in App Store Connect. You have full control over availability and can disable multiseat purchases entirely, or selectively manage availability across the App Store, Apple Business, and Apple School Manager.

Volume Purchasing launches on October 22, 2026, and Group Purchases will launch this winter.
