Reply to Renaming Kexts?
I'm also curious about this. My Macbook Pro has a hardware problem with its FireWire port which prevents OS X from starting up if the FireWire drivers are present (it hangs indefinitely waiting for the FireWire port to respond.) The only way for me to run OS X on my laptop is to remove Apple's FireWire kernel extensions.

Reply to Does WatchKit Extension code run on watch in watchOS 2?
Well, first you need to decide what you should put in different places. ie: watchos2 requires a different way of thinking. What are you calculating? If the inputs for the calculations come directly from Apple Watch, then it is much better that the extension runs on Apple Watch itself. If the inputs do NOT come directly from Apple Watch, you may think about doing calculations in parent app in background (or even on a server) and using WatchConnectivity to send them to Apple Watch from the parent iOS app.For instance, we (at Mouseaddict) track where the user goes inside of Disneyland when they are visiting. This type of data can be displayed on Apple Watch in a glance or watch app. (it does not now, but it could). This would be perfect for running on the parent app because the datam we are crunching does not come directly from Apple Watch itself - it is lat/lon and the phone provides that because Apple Watch doesn't have a GPS. Hence this should be crunched in the bkg on the parent iOS app and sent bac

Getting 2 weather glances
On my Watch I get one normal weather glance and one blurred one. On the Watch app on the phone it is showing 2 weather glances. If I turn one off the blurred one goes away from the Watch but on the phone app it still shows one on and one off. Any one else notice or have this issue?

I agree.A beta is a beta. It is not a cause to slam apps that don't work under the beta. If this is NOT against the TOS then it should be! If you are running this on anything other than a dev iPhone it is a bad idea..If you ARE running it on a dev iPhone then there is absolutely NO reason for this list.Reporting this Apple to see if they will lock and/or remove this thread.

Xcode 7 causes iPhone to freeze
iOS 9, iPhone 6 PlusRunning my app from Xcode 7 works great the first time. Then I stop it, make some changes and run it again - this causes the phone to freeze up completely. Anyone else encountered anything similar? Any ideas why this might be? Other than some bug in either iOS 9 or Xcode 7.Thanks!

10.11 hangs at white screen on boot
After the reboot for the installation on 10.11 on our test macbook pro the machine boots to a white screen and will not go any further. I can't boot to safe mode or hold option to choose a boot device. the PRAM reset does not happen either. Has anyone run into this or did it just brick my test laptop?

Reply to iOS 9 Beta battery life
Glad to see it's happening to everyone, else there'd be something to worry about 🙂Personally, my test device is currently at 13% at 5pm, usually it'd be around 60% so the power usage sure is off, but the point is that it does not matter. As has already been said, there's likely no power conservation going on right now, and I'd expect low level logging is active.Leave the device plugged in all day (like I will be tomorrow!!)As for development device only I fully agree, yet I happily install on my primary iPhone6 because that is my dev device. If it breaks or goes on fire, I have a perfectly good iphone 5S that I can live with. Hard to get to grips with an OS and do testing if you dont actually use the phone! So yeah, installing on primaries is fine in my opinion; but only if you dont really care about things like data loss and power loss !

Checking for Update Endlessly
I thought I did everything right. I downloaded and installed Xcode 7 beta, iOS 9 beta, and opened the watchOS 2 beta config on my phone then selected Apple Watch as install location. Next I go to the Software Update section in the Apple Watch app, and it endlessly checks for an update. Where did I go wrong and what's the next step to fix it?

Reply to Watch shows red exclamation point on reboot after installation
@michaelallenkelso, @SeniorShizzle et al,I know you probably did, but it's not been stated by anyone here yet. Did you follow the instructions and register the device before sending the profile to the watch and starting the update?Clearly it's worked for a lot of people, and if updates really are bricking phones, then I'll be a lot more careful with mine in the future. Unlike iphones I think it's fair to say that some dev's dont really have spare development watches laying around! I'm sure some do though.

Reply to Companion app has problems with Watch OS 2.0
The icons of the stock apps are now after several minutes also in the companion app visible. But still I have problems with the settings. I wanted to ad some photos to test the new custom watch face. It gives me the error message that I must first select the photo library on my iPhone. There I have the same setting like I had in 1.0.1 where it worked. But now I can change in the companion app as much as I want the photos wont be synced to the watch. I put the watch also on the charger but without success.

How does Handoff work now?
I get the icon on my lock screen, and if I swipe up and unlock I get the webpage from my Mac, but it used to be on the left of the task list as well. With the new task list scrolling from the left, the app from the other device is no longer available there - or am I missing something? iPhone 6+
