Reply to reboot loop
Same problem here when I used the iTunes restore. Failed back to doing an iCloud restore instead. Looked like it at least worked. But I'm on almost 24 hours and only about half of my apps have been re-downloaded so far..Almost seems like the internet connectivity is on a slow drip, battery gets warm and drains, and the AppStore is crashing or something else is making it stop or slow downloading apps. I reboot the iPhone 6 once and while and it seems to download a little bit more at a faster pace.. Not sure if I'm just going crazy. :-)

Reply to SMS & Apple Watch
Does the unpairing and reparing of the apple watch work when both the iPhone and the apple watch have been updated or just when the iPhone has been updated? I just wanna update the iPhone without lossing the ability to use my apple watch with it, so if I unpair it, will my apple watch still work when I repair it having only updated the phone. Thanks for any help.

Downgrade from Watch OS 2 to 1.0.1
I initally installed IOS 9 Beta, and then was able to install watch OS 2 after that. After using it a day, ios 9 was too glitchy and it was hard to use my phone. When I downgraded to ios 8.3, it is now not letting me use my apple watch because my phone isn't on ios 9. Is there any way on getting my watch back on 1.0.1?Would this work?1. Install iOS 9 beta again.2. In the apple watch app, restore the watch to the first backup (after I unpaired it before the inital ios2 update)3. Restore iPhone back to iOS 8.34. Sync iPhone to new apple watchThis will take a lot of work/time to complete. Does the apple watch restore restore the firmware as well? Thanks!

Reply to CoreLocation: startUpdateLocation is unavailable
I looked at using requestLocation but as that only performs one request rather than continous requests I was hoping there would be another way as I share the code for both the iPhone and Watch app.I use a distance filter that only gives me locations when I've moved a certain distance which is really convenient so I guess I need to implement a similar setup for the watch, or as suggested above keep location functionality on the phone.

Reply to WCSession sendMessage returning errors (simulator)
Because you're calling the code to start the session in your view controller, you'll have to actually start your iPhone app in order to initiate session info from the iPhone. When you run the watch scheme, only the watch simulator launches the app. Your iPhone app is launched in the background of the iPhone simulator if your watch tries to access it. Also, my understanding is you have to call the same activateSession and delegate methods in the watchkit extension and the iPhone app. But I could be wrong on this part. I think maybe why you're seeing the error message is that your initiating the session on the iphone app, but running only the watch app. so the watch tries to look for a session that isn't there because your iPhone view controller wasn't launched to create the session yet.

Reply to iOS 9 Beta battery life
Hi All.Putting my iPhone 6+ AND iPad Air 2 in Airplane Mode stops the battery drain. Something to do with the radios running full power when leaving the phone after a period of use.Toggling Airplane Mode On/OFF seems to have the same effect.Suggestion: Habitually toggle Airplane Mode when you are done fiddling with your iDevice, before putting it to sleep.Best regards...

Handoff automatic link to app
Just a small thing that i would have liked in iOS 9 is Handoff which will show directly the app that i'll be moved to on the lockscreen.Let's say that I'm watching some Youtube video and i want to swich to my phone. When I do that, as I already have the Youtube app, it will bring me to the app, but still from Safari to the app.It will be nice if on the Lockscreen I see the actual app icon, then directly go to and when I'm watching my video started on my mac I'll not have a « Back to Safari » linkI also hope that once with the Unified Membership, we'll see more mac apps 😀

Same on my sideBattery runs out in amazing speed - from 32% to 23% in 15 min without any app open. We could not imagine it yesterday.Normally I use my Iphone6 whole the day with 30% to 40% full at night - yesterday I had 32% at noon - and I did NO CALL and had no time for tests during business time. And the phone got warm also - same as Beta 1 of IOS8Battery statistic says that the HOME AND LOCK SCREEN is 26%, Mail 21%, Telephone 16% ....

Apple WatchOS 2 and iOS 9 won't pair
Yesterday, I updated the iPhone to iOS 9, and watch to OS2 fine. Today, I downgraded to iOS 8 because the phone was too glitchy. After realizing the iPhone won't work with the apple watch since WatchOS 2 and iOS 9 aren't compatable, I updated back to iOS 9. Now my watch just stays on the apple loop, and if I get through to the pairing screen, my iPhone will not see it (manually or through the camera). Any advice?

Reply to Can I install back to iOS 8.3 after trying out iOS 9 beta?
I tried to downgrade because i have to send my iphone off to Apple due to a fauty screen, but it fails half way through teh usuaul process. It say the phone failed to restore and then tries to download 8.3 again (even though i've jut told it to instal that a few minutes beofre hand). From previous betas this hasnt been a problem. UPS are due in 1/2 hour to pick up the phone so this is a bit of a problem!Legally speking I fail to see how Apple can void a legal gaurantee for a hardware defect because i put an authorised developer release on via a dev account etc on, but I really dont want them to have to recieve a phone with a dev release on and then refuse it!W

Reply to Build app for Apple Watch only
Your watch app will still have to be bundled with an iOS app even with watchOS 2. It just won't require the iPhone app to do all the work like in watchOS 1.

Reply to How do you start the watchkit 1 to 2 migration?
To answer my own question - it seems that nothing needs to be done! The extension portion now simply work on the watch! I tried my game by simply switching off iPhone and it still works!
