Reply to Cannot logout or change settings in iCloud - OS X 10.11
I'm having the same issue, and the only oddity that I can seem to point out so far is with my account itself. I've had the account since the .Mac days, so it has a @mac.com, @me.com, and @icloud.com alias. I noticed in the Internet Accounts Preference Pane that I have multiple iCloud accounts listed which are aliases for eachother. This is certainly not how I had it set up in 10.9 before upgrading this system. The first iCloud account in the list shows my @me.com alias, and the other (which is overall 4th on the list) is my @mac.com address. When I click on the @mac.com address (which is marked as inactive) I get an immediate prompt saying:This Mac can’t connect to iCloud because of a problem with “<account>@mac.com”. Open iCloud preferences to fix this problem. From there it takes me back to the iCloud Preference Pane (which shows my @me.com alias) with a password prompt asking to sign into my Apple ID. I enter the password for my iCloud account (remember they're aliases so they use the same pa

Locked out of Apple Support
As the title says, I keep getting locked out of Apple Support. When not being a (non recepiant of an amazing Apple Design Award and) developer, I'm repairing Mac's and such. Attempting to access How to troubleshoot Wi-Fi connectivity in OS X Lion or earlierLearn how to troubleshoot Wi-Fi network connectivity issues on your Mac gives me Access Denied You don't have permission to access http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202222 on this server. and a referance number. Normally accessing these documents without going through Apple Support, I cleared my browser and cache and went through here: http://www.apple.com/support/macbookpro/wifi/. Same problem. What I've done:Cleared my cacheCleared my historyCleared my history & website dataRestarted SafariRestareted OS XAll results in the same Access Denied and no permission to access to support.apple.com all together unless I access Apple.com first and click the Support button.

Reply to SMS & Apple Watch
Does the unpairing and reparing of the apple watch work when both the iPhone and the apple watch have been updated or just when the iPhone has been updated? I just wanna update the iPhone without lossing the ability to use my apple watch with it, so if I unpair it, will my apple watch still work when I repair it having only updated the phone. Thanks for any help.

Downgrade from Watch OS 2 to 1.0.1
I initally installed IOS 9 Beta, and then was able to install watch OS 2 after that. After using it a day, ios 9 was too glitchy and it was hard to use my phone. When I downgraded to ios 8.3, it is now not letting me use my apple watch because my phone isn't on ios 9. Is there any way on getting my watch back on 1.0.1?Would this work?1. Install iOS 9 beta again.2. In the apple watch app, restore the watch to the first backup (after I unpaired it before the inital ios2 update)3. Restore iPhone back to iOS 8.34. Sync iPhone to new apple watchThis will take a lot of work/time to complete. Does the apple watch restore restore the firmware as well? Thanks!

Reply to Failed upgrade to watchOS2
I am getting the same thing durring the upgrade it got stuck at about the 10 o'clock position then stoped there for 1 hour so I did a hard reset. Now all I get is a Apple logo for 5 minutes then it makes a chime for the charger. after that the screen just goes black and I get nothing untill I do a hard reset which brings me back to the apple logo. I know the software is installed cause when I did the first hard reset it alowed me to use the clock face and nightstand mode for a mintue before shuting off and now doing this. occasonaly after doing a hard reset I see the loading bar again as if it is doing another update but it never moves from the first hash. Let me know if anyone finds a solution.

Swift and Mathematics
Hi all?I am an electrical engineer who has recently learnt Swift for a new project.I know Swift is an OO language but I can't resist making comparisons to other languages I have used previously in science and academia. The applications I am writing relies heavily on mathematics and I really wish Swift had more built in support for basic mathematical constructs.I was very disappointed to see Apple reserving the ^ keyword for a bitwise operation (XOR) rather than a power function as is pretty standard elsewhere. If I could have one built in function added to Swift it would be the Power function using preferably the ^ keyword. After that, why not throw in the basic trigonometric functins too? Would that be too much to ask? I don't condone bloating Swift by adding every single mathematical function in existance, just a few of these basics to make the easy stuff a whole lot quicker and more portable.Yes I know you can use overload operators and subscripts, but this just adds more custom code which kills any

Reply to Get rid of Open Directory!
I'm stuck here on 2009 Xserve's that need to go, but really no options these days. I wish Apple would have kept OSX and OS X Server seperate and then made OS X Server allowed to be installed on PC hardware under VMWare. All of our servers have been on VMWare now for years and now they are trying to push our clients to that as well with zero clients. Little dangerous for me as they are trying to get rid of the Macs in the process, but it woud be nice to be able to use OS X Server on non mac hardware or bring out server grade hardware again. I always wanted a 3U or so Xserve with atleast 8 Drives in it.
